This site is extraordinary : beautiful lake with a walk around path. John has made a specific place with an exclusive living room, a kitchenette and fridge next to the shower and toilets for use by the guests. Everything neat and comfortable. The campsite with hookups is very nice and with a stone table and chairs under beautiful trees. Horses and chiken are so friendly and not too far. We really enjoyed this moment of calm and rest. Thanks for all this very nice place.

We were able to stroll over to the pond to watch the sunset from the swinging benches, and again in the morning to greet the farm animals and birds visiting the nests. We had a wonderful time at Chris’ land. It was just remote enough for us. There was a little creek nearby, enough wood, and wonderful valleys to play in. There’s a trail to a bamboo stand. The kids loved playing around there. Definitely bring a car that can traverse backwoods. We spent Saturday at Cane Creek about thirty minutes away hiking and playing in the waterfalls. Chris was super nice and helpful.
