Weekend Trip to Heavenly Grace Farm

Overall, the experience was delightful. I was able to pull my little camper right next to the pond and enjoy the serene view over the landscape. I enjoyed fishing in the pond and caught multiple nice size bass and a catfish, and relaxing. My son enjoyed riding his bike on the path around the pond, playing on the playset, and feeding the alpacas. Had a great time, the host was excellent, and would definitely visit again.

We arrived Friday & had a fun time till we left Sunday. The property, the pond, & Ms. Erica were great. Ms. Erica even helped us out with some extra sleeping bags when the night time temps dropped lower than expected. From fishing in the pond to seeing all the animals, our grand-kids enjoyed & learned a lot on the farm setting. We’ll certainly add it to our “let’s go back” list!

We cannot say enough about how beautiful Vikrum’s land was. It was so peaceful and quiet and the river view and beaches were amazing. We had a little difficulty finding the initial turn off from the dirt road but the GPS directions lead us right to it. We just didn’t listen to them 🙄. The trail to the campsite was totally passable for a Tacoma and a grand Highlander. We loved it and so did our pups! We will totally be back. Thank you for a wonderful little break from reality!

Great spot! The site had a nice flattened area for my tent a little into a wooded area. I was able to hang my hammock. And the spot is right in the edge of the walking trails which was lovely. I also had some car troubles and Jordan was very responsive and helpful!

The hosts were friendly and informative and very helpful with directions. The sight was the perfect size for all our gear with a great view of the pond. I decided on an afternoon swim after unpacking and was blown away by the crystal clear water and fish swimming around me. Not to mention the beautiful hand crafted community area on the shoreline. Everything was very well maintained while staying mindful of the surrounding ecosystem. My only regret was not booking another night and having more time to explore this beautiful property and catch one of the community fires!

We’ve camped at this spot several times now, and every visit just reinforces why we keep coming back. The property is absolutely beautiful — serene, quiet, and nestled right on the banks of the Escatawpa River. Whether you’re relaxing by the water or waking up to the sounds of nature, it’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel grounded and at peace. The primitive camping setup is exactly what we love — no frills, just raw nature. It’s the perfect environment to unplug, reconnect, and even brush up on some survival skills. My two boys especially enjoy the experience; they’re always excited to explore the woods, learn new outdoor skills, and just be outside without the distractions of screens. We had a wonderful experience! We booked the Yurt and the micro cabin for a family trip and both spaces were beautiful and comfortable. At one point the water stopped working and the hosts worked continuously to get it fixed and it was resolved within the day. Great trails. Very kid-friendly as well.

The land is absolutely beautiful, pond was refreshing and peaceful. I stayed in the micro cabin which was great. I would recommend that you do bring all of your own cooking supplies as there wasn't everything there that was needed and the outside space is not covered so when it was raining I didn't have access to the little kitchen.

We had a very peaceful camping experience, and the pond on the property was absolutely lovely. We visited over Memorial Day weekend, and the site before ours had a large group with about five cars. It made maneuvering a bit difficult, so I think the owners might consider setting a car limit per site. The lane for vehicles is very narrow, and with multiple cars, it becomes tricky to navigate. Due to the holiday weekend and the number of guests, the composting toilet nearest to us ran out of sawdust. We stayed at Site 3, which we chose for its privacy—it’s the last site along the road and felt the most secluded. You can park your vehicle right next to the site, which was ideal since we slept in my truck bed the first night. However, it looks like they’re building an off-grid cabin nearby, which may affect Site 3’s privacy in the future. Next time, I’d love to try Site 1—it looked spacious and even has private access to the pond. I also agree with another reviewer: the property could use better signage. We got lost for over an hour trying to find the pond on site and ended up following a misleading sign marked "pond" that actually led out to the National Forest. That said, Jordan was a fantastic host. He checked in on us, promptly addressed an issue when someone tried to set up camp too close to our spot, and kept a close eye on the property. As two women traveling alone, we felt very safe and well cared for.
