We offer shady campsites and fishing in two private lakes stocked with bass and bluegill. Lakes are for campers only! Campers can pick blueberries when they are in season (June-July)--limit 2 pints per site per day. Wildlife is abundant. You will hear owls and coyotes at night. Often bald eagles can be spotted at both lakes. Other wildlife you may see: deer, wild turkey, raccoons, opossums, fox, bobcat, coyote, rabbits, armadillo, otter, and squirrels. Please do not approach the wild animals! There is a pretty creek for those who like to creek walk. Petrified wood can be picked up in the creek bed. We are only 30 minutes from the University of Mississippi campus for people coming for ballgame weekends. We are only about 20 minutes from Grenada and Enid Reservoirs. These have some of the finest crappie fishing in the United States. We are located 2 miles east of the Trans America Trail.

Loved our stay for the night at this cozy little cabin. Taking a roadtrip cross country and it’s exactly the kind of place we needed. Everyone in town was so friendly and the animals on the property were very friendly too! Our host was incredible! Anything we needed, it was provided to us. Including breakfast! Very kind and hospitable people. Staying in this place was lovely. I would absolutely come here again, if you’re in the area, give this charming little place a visit! You won’t be disappointed. Love the local honey!

Wonderful Hipcamp. Beautiful area. The farm and amenities are very well maintained. It was very peaceful and quiet. There are comfortable relaxing areas to sit and enjoy the lake and the views all around. The common shared area is screened and the bathroom was roomy. The bathroom’s hot water was pretty instant and the water pressure in the shower was great. The host and the miniature donkeys are very welcoming! I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Very peaceful- the area is large, beautiful and relaxing. Horses grazing in the pasture, gorgeous sunrise & a friendly host made our night out camping fun. Clean restrooms available and a funny pair of donkeys by the barn. We walked the trail area with our dogs and enjoyed every moment.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed there. Again they treated us like family and with kindness and always helpful if we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here if you are camping or in a camper anywhere around Bruce and water valley. It is a very pretty piece of property with lots of places to walk on trails or ride and 2 nice lakes you can fish. It is a great place to get away and relax for a couple of days.

Beautiful property that is a short drive from good hiking spots and Tupelo. Kitchenette area is a separate sun room, with comfortable seating, and is a nice bonus. There was no hot water when we were there and one of the neighbors was very loud (very loud TV or sound system - but not much the hosts can do about that).
