There is a canoe, and many other entertainment opportunities are there onsite or nearby. it is a quiet spot, enough room for small family and pet to shar with Paul and his dog Piper as i did. i wish I had a few more days to enjoy, but i'll be back!

Paul’s Lakeside Cottage is such a lovely peaceful relaxing retreat. The views of the lake are stunning!! Paul and Piper were so kind and welcoming. We hiked his property, explored the nearby forest and small towns nearby, and of course a nightly campfire-we heard loons and owls. We usually tent camp so this was a treat-Paul has everything you need! I highly recommend!!!!!!

I brought my 3 dogs up to Paul's for a much needed getaway and I honestly can't wait to go back (sans dogs at least once). Piper was there to greet me as soon as I opened my car door and she is such a sweetheart! The views are goegeous, the hiking is a ton of fun with cool stuff to find, that stars are beautiful, the wildlife is fun to admire. I was able to listen to a loon, saw and heard my first raven in person, and watched a great blue heron that likes to feed out on the lake every day. There's definitely a reason all his reviews are absolutely glowing.

Our stay (three nights) at Harvest Loon was excellent! The rustic feel of the log cabin, combined with all the appreciated amenities (Full kitchen, Beautiful Bathroom, wood burning stove, fire ring outdoors, plenty of firewood) was perfect! The privacy of the property was amazing and the lake view was sublime! The beds were all comfortable and we loved the shower. Harvest Loon is located just 30 minutes from anywhere you'd want to go up in the Brainard, Pequot, Nisswa, Cross Lake area. We highly recommend!

What a place! Harvest Loon Camp was just as described and all the photos, but so much more in person. A wonderful and peaceful spot, with direct views across the lake. We stayed 4 days in August (Mon-Fri) and only once saw someone else on the lake; it was like the whole lake was our own private retreat. The kids loved the beach, and the two canoes. The cabin was spacious, even with 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children). Kitchen was well equipped, plus small grill and big fire pit! Directions to the cabin and entry instructions were spot on and easy to follow. A wonderful stay, thank you Bob!

We absolutely loved harvest loon cabin! The screened in porch kept the bugs away while still listening to the loons and playing cards into the night. Modern amenities in the perfect cabin for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very private but easy to find. Barely any signal made for a great off the grid weekend while being close enough to town for any last minute necessities. Highly recommend checking out little Emily park for swimming and trails. A great hipcamp spot & Paul is a wonderful host! If you are looking for quiet and solitude, this is the place. No traffic noise or other campers to what can otherwise spoil a desirable camping experience. Paul even showed me around his land and the neighboring area and gave me recommendations for local live music. I highly recommend a visit to Paul's place!
