Our campsite was originally designed for our young family's enjoyment, but as our boys have grown older and become involved in travel sports, we find ourselves unable to make regular use of it. However, we're thrilled to share this slice of paradise with fellow outdoor enthusiasts like you.

Beautiful view of peaceful, residential-only Duck Lake just one mile from the bustling summer town of Crystal, Michigan, in Montcalm County. Lake and dock access. Great fishing for kids! Bluegill, pike, bass, sunfish galore. RV hookup is solo - for just one RV. Two tents welcome alongside your RV. Firepit and wood included. One large trash bin provided; pickup once a week provided. Well-behaved, leashed/staked dogs welcome; we just kindly ask you to pick up their poo. We often have cornhole and croquet sets out on the lawn RVers are welcome to use. Peaceful, gorgeous, wooded, and a quick jaunt to the village of Crystal, where there's a one-screen movie theatre screening first-run films on weekends, Ike's Ice Cream shop, two gas stations, two bars, restaurants, and a pizza joint. In our experience, when we open the cover on a vigorous hive we encounter a potent aerosol containing the most amazing scents from all of the treasures the bees are cultivating, such as essential oils from flowers, propolis and honey. The connection we have with these fascinating creatures also brings a feeling of gratitude and well-being. We want to provide a similar opportunity for you in a safe space within our medicinal apiary and small farm called New Earth Gardens.
* It’s unique to find beehive air therapy & bee beds in North America and we are happy to offer this right here in Michigan. Located in a rural setting, nestled between the Canadian and Chippewa Lakes, countless other bodies of water, state forests, Amish communities and farms. Relax in this serene honeybee cabin, being very close to, yet separated from the bees by metal screens in the bee bed air vents. Observe the activity in the apiary and woodlands through a large window. Meditate, listen to or play music, or allow yourself to drift off to sleep.
* The environment inside a beehive is one of the most clean and healthy spaces found in nature. It is anti-microbial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and full of negative ions. The bee hive air permeates up through metal screen covered holes in the beds into the cabin filling it with wonderful fragrance. There are four colonies in each bed with populations averaging 240,000 bees per bed. The hum can be mesmerizing and creates a micro massage that can be healing in itself. The colony health is kept optimal and we plant an abundance of medicinal plants in our gardens for the bees to create the most beneficial quality of air inside the cabin. I chose to stay at The Only Spot as it was within 15 min or so of my relatives and some friends. We were on an extended trip to MI to escape the southern heat. So when my husband had to fly back for work this spot worked great as there aren't a lot of camping options around.
It is a quiet area so it's a great place to kick back and relax with a good book.(You do hear the Crystal race on Saturday night but its not bad) I enjoyed seeing the sunrise at Duck Lake in the morning then going to see the sunset at Crystal. I also enjoyed having the windows open and having the cool breeze from the lake even though it was across the street.
The ice cream at Ike's was great. The little store in Crystal I found some food items I needed along with refilling my propane tank.
I kayaked at the lake as we brought our own. It's a small lake but peaceful as there is not alot of boat traffic.
Jennifer was a great host and was responsive to the few question I had.
I would stay here again.

Great, peaceful spot with easy access to two lakes! Very peaceful with lots of wildlife and all the necessities you need (sewer, water and electric hookup). Very large lot so you have room to spread out! Firepit and wood provided for cozy bonfires. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

This is a very nice lot with electric sewage and water. Front yard has many trees and a fire pit. Duck Lake and dock directly across road for easy access. We were there for only 2 nights and didn’t bring kayaks but next time for sure!! Hostess Jennifer very accommodating and it was a peaceful and quiet stay.

My wife and I loved camping here over the holiday weekend! The easy hookups, concrete slab, and table/chairs were perfect. It was also a big plus that our dogs were able to come along. That made our lives a lot easier. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone.
