This site is a slice of heaven on earth. We had the most comfortable camping conditions weather-wise, it was getting a bit chilly in September so we had the entire property to ourselves. So peaceful and healing. Site 2 and 3 are definitely show stoppers. The walk down to the campsite feels right out of a Disney woodland movie, complete with a ton of foliage, flowers, and a babbling creek that was a dream to listen to as you fall asleep at night. Sarah was awesome and super communicative and let us have free range of the sites during our stay since we were the only ones there. Being on the river was absolutely picturesque and we are already planning on coming back in the summer to enjoy the river more. Thank you, Sarah, for sharing your gorgeous property with us, we are so excited to come back with friends!

My best friend and I took a much-needed girl's trip to C&A in August. Aimee's communication and directions were extremely thorough, and amenities were better than a hotel. We packed as if we were going camping, but quickly realized we way overpacked, as Aimee had thought of everything. Chad and Aimee are lovely humans and gave us our space but still made communication easily accessible when there were any questions. We loved our campsite and enjoyed soaking up the scenery, hammocks, and firepit. The bathhouse was fully equipped with toiletries, a mini fridge, a large sink, snacks, tea, and coffee maker. Cell service was spotty, but texts still came and went eventually. The geography of this part of Michigan is absolutely beautiful, and we will keep C&A in mind for future adventures.

It's just the most beautiful place to go! It was my third trip and it won't be my last. Sarah is the best hostess and the place is absolutely beautiful.
Definitely bring a wagon and some water shoes and you'll have the best time.
I love Site #1 and keep coming back to it. The others are gorgeous, too, but I love the spillway and the creek. It's so tucked away that you'd never believe there was camping down there. The river isn't super deep so it's great for wading and swimming. Plus, there are spots you could drop kayaks or tubes in up river and float back to Doriath. I brought an anchor and floated on rafts for hours right out front.
I'm so grateful that Sarah shares this place with the world!

We loooooved our stay on site 3!! What a perfect spot for our family camping trip. Sarah was a wonderful host and was ready to come out to help me when my car died! Great spot, great communication- loved the land!
We saw bald eagles flying the river, enjoyed the sounds of the springs while we slept, listened to all the other bird and animal noises and swam and kayaked up and down the river all day! Will be back 10/10. ☀️

The property was absolutely BREATHTAKING. My family and I brought our husky and it was the perfect area to just relax, swim, and fish. Sarah even has a little fenced off section for your dogs! The campsites are a little close together if privacy is an issue for you. But we were lucky enough to have no other campers the first 2 nights! We had an incredible trip and would highly recommend this camp!

We had a great time tent camping at Camp Firefly. The location feels very private but having neighbors nearby made us feel safer should something happen. There was a nice spot for the tent and many fallen sticks to keep the fire going. Unfortunately, both public showers available were out of order, but that couldn't be helped and we were okay with roughing it for a few days. Overall a very fun time, and Misty was very responsive to any questions.

We’re a family of 5 (mom,dad, 7 yr old, 4yr old, 2yr old) we each, wholeheartedly enjoyed Sarah’s land ! We had site 2, partly shady and a 2 -3 min walk with a child- to a very clean outhouse. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND bringing a wagon ** (bug repellent**) , it’s a 5-10 min (with children) walk from site 2 to our vehicle. The walk to our site was beautiful; the scenery , the refreshing stream that runs to the river that our site was right upon. A perfect ankle deep initial sandbar within a 30 second walk from our site. Our site had a fire ring and bench. Dad was able to hook a ~ 3# small mouth bass that we released . The distance between each site is comfortable! We would and will definitely return, a really beautiful experience!

Another wonderful 4th of July weekend at Site 1! It's just so gorgeous and serene! Sarah is lovely and the place is perfect.
Some things to note:
Bring a wagon. No, really, bring a wagon. There's a little hill that you'll need a wagon to deal with.
Also, water shoes. Those will make getting in the river a much easier experience! I brought a cinder block to use as an anchor for tubes and we floated for hours. The water is super warm once you get past the stream, so don't panic in those first few steps.
Both times I've been to Doriath Springs, the other campers have been so nice! The place attracts good folks.

The sites were magical! Right on the river and beautiful. We were able to fit 3 tents easily on site 3. One thing to keep in mind is the spots aren't super private if you have neighbors, and each camp site is not car accessible. Other than that, the outhouse was very nice to use and the site was well kept. I'd highly recommend!
