There's a grocery store, numerous cheese shops, and a variety of party stores and restaurants. For the outdoor enthusiasts, don't miss out on going to the ever-famous "Northwoods Wholesale Outlet". Also nearby is the "Saganing Eagles Landing Casino" in Standish. We have resided here for over 30 years and can assist you in many ways to get the most out of your visit.

We have a flock of about 20 friendly pet ducks and geese that travel the property. You may feed them frozen green peas if you would enjoy that but nothing else please.

Shared kayaks, paddle boards, canoe and row boat are included during your stay. We're sorry, but outside such items are NOT permitted in order to minimize the risk of zebra mussel exposure, etc.
Life jackets in multiple sizes are on hand as well. But, you are welcome to bring your own.
Fishing is allowed if not by the ducks or geese. No additional hunting of any kind is allowed.
Electrical outlets are available to charge phones in an outbuilding if needed.
We have two porta potties and a hose shower.
We have a flock of about 20 friendly pet ducks and geese that travel the property. You may feed them frozen green peas if you would enjoy that but nothing else please.
For the safety of our feathered friends and the abundant wildlife we cannot permit pets.
We are 30-40 minutes north of Flint, 30-40 min east of Saginaw and 20 minutes from Michigan’s Little Bavaria, Frankenmuth.

Plus a 2 and half acre pond. there are many activities to do including swimming, fishing (catch and release only), kayaking, paddle board. Hiking trails and a few games around the property. We have a outdoor bathroom. There is electrical outlet 100 feet away outdoor electrical option. Detroit is 1 hour 20 minutes away. Port Huron 1 hour away. The host, Mike, was very kind. I went winter camping, and it was risky to drive my car to the site, so he generously helped transport my camping gear with his mini truck. The forest was peaceful and quiet, and you can even see deer. I will definitely be back! It’s a safe place as well.

First, I’ll say make sure your vehicle can handle a little bit of backroad driving, but once you get there, the campsite is lovely.
Secluded, relaxing, with easy access to a facility and a great firepit. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful as he got us set up at our site. Not much I can say besides it was a lovely time all around! Thank you for lending us your land for a night!

Absolutely beautiful retreat! Private wooded camping site with adorable outhouse. We arrived around 7pm and Kim surprised us with our camp fire burning to welcome us.
The next morning we wandered endless forest trails finding new areas to explore around every corner. Small ponds, wandering canals, covered bridge, adorable goat paddocks, friendly hens, comical emus, tiny beaches, etc. There is something for everyone but it was just perfect for what we needed. Thank you Kim & Jeff; we loved our stay.

This little patch of heaven is just what anyone needs. Tucked away between two busy towns you feel like you're actually up north. Secluded campsites with all your basic needs (fire pit, chairs, potable water) fire wood bundled for a small fee and a privacy house that includes lanterns and toiletries. The hosts are wonderful people. I had a great conversation with Cori. They have excellent communication as Micheal answered all my questions and provided a map of the area I'd be setting up at. The property has many little trails to venture around during the day. The sites were clean and well kept. A little early morning traffic sounds are unavoidable even a mile away from the main roads but pop in your ear plugs and "poof" your back up north amongst the forest for the a relaxing morning. At night, I was serenaded by a local owl and that was magical. Quiet, secluded and for anyone wanting a quick getaway from the metro area this is the place to visit. Quiet seclusion and yet a 5 minute drive to two different small towns for food or drink. You pair these amenities with the graciousness of the hosts plus the low rental cost and you'll be hooked on becoming a regular here. Thank you, Michael and Cori for offering us all to your property. I can't wait to book here again!

We had the best time camping at Vine camp! The farm animals were so cute and the property is just stunning! My pup is not a fan of strangers and the campsite was super private and quiet! This was a spectacular campsite - we booked a last-minute camping trip with friends and this little forest & farm were exactly what we needed. Woke up to farm fresh eggs, coffee over the fire and then did a little farm walk followed by mushroom foraging on the property (found some awesome species!). Kim was so helpful and welcoming, she even helped up hose off our muddy dog after a spill lol. She told us of some planned additions to the land that they’re working on and I’m very excited to come back and see the projects in full swing. Hipcamp never fails to lead us to awesome sites with interesting folks that are generous enough to share them with us - this is another one for the book!

Kim was very welcoming and let us come on her property to see the animals and gave as backstory on how this property has come to be what it is today. Such a beautiful spot and a cozy cabin.
