The camping site was so beautiful. A picnic table was provided and I was able to purchase some fire wood that the owner dropped off at our site. Plenty of room for the 6 people I camped with, two tents and two cars. Plenty of places to walk around and explore and so fun to see the horses walk by! There was some confusion checking in and finding the spot as there are a few spots around the acres. I would love to come back someday!

The campsite was wonderful! They had cleared debris for our tents before we arrived and left us plenty of firewood to last us our stay. The view was fantastic and we saw/heard lots of beautiful wildlife. 9/10 would visit again! Only gripe was the distance from the only toilet (though we were told upfront about that before booking, so they were at least clear and upfront about it).

Quiet and peaceful spot all by it's self. Easy to find and back into. There are lots of deer and you will have horses for neighbors :) I stayed a couple nights here as I was hiking near by. There are 3 other Hipcamp sites on the property and even with all of them booked, it was still very quiet. I would stay again if were in the area. Thanks for having us!

Great site. Would definitely return. Site is mostly soft grass with some small gravel on the high traffic areas, plenty of space, and right along a nice creek. There's some activity from the public canoe launch nearby, but it's overall nice and private. Only wish would be having the porta potty closer.

Elizabeth’s land was beautiful and the perfect place to camp for groups large and small. Being right on the lake was incredible. We were on a road trip, hit some major traffic, and arrived late. We had a bit of a hard time finding it in the dark, so I definitely recommend getting there earlier while there is still plenty of daylight to find your spot and enjoy the lake. :)

I’m a repeat camper and have enjoyed both sites at this location. Highly recommend staying when the beer garden is open. And go for a swim if you can, the water is lovely. Great site. We’ll be back again!

I loved tent camping at Eagles Nest. True to its name, I saw 3 bald eagles flying over the water. Speaking of the water, the view is incredible. 180 degrees of water surrounds you. The site is mostly in the shade but there are a couple of sun spots to catch a tan. A nice breeze off the water kept most of the bugs at bay. The access to the water is definitely steep and muddy but if you’re half athletic, you should have no problem going up and down. There were a couple of trail rides that rode by during the day which was very cool to see the horses. Elizabeth was a great host! We met her husband (Brandon?) on arrival at the site. We purchased firewood for a fair price and he dropped it off for us. This site was peaceful and private. We will absolutely come back to camp here in the very near future!

Absolutely beautiful and secluded site! The site is in a wooded area, next to water, and is spacious. Lots of wildlife activity surrounds. The views and sunsets are awesome. It felt like I was far away in the back country. Yet so close and accessible. I took advantage of the fishing on Pond Creek. I will definitely return again! We loved tent camping at Creekside Grill! The open lean-to structure was the perfect place for stashing our cooler and bags so that we had plenty of extra room in our tent. It would also be very handy in case of rain. We took the kayaks and spent a few hours exploring downstream. The water was cold and clear and deep enough for a nice swim on a hot day. We booked a Sunday and Monday and walked down to the Beer Garden in Sunday afternoon for live music, drinks, and dinner from a food truck. The campsite was far enough from the Beer Garden that the noise wouldn't have bothered us. It was so quiet and peaceful, especially at night with moonlight shining on the water and the sound of an owl up in the trees. We also saw a heron, a local swan, and a hawk in the tree above the porta potty. Also, the Porta Potty was very clean! We will definitely come back for a longer stay next summer.
