Come stay on our Farmstead! We are full time livestock, grain, and produce farmers. If you are looking to enjoy the experience of a Farmstead, consider spending the weekend here! We have a few very friendly steer, a small herd of Boer goats, an obnoxious amount of piggies (about 40-ish), and a flock of free range chickens that keeps us on a never ending Easter egg hunt!! HEY FISHING GURUS - We are located on Chipman Pond and have there are more freshwater fishing ponds in and around our immediate area, several within just 5 miles. We are directly across the road from the Chipman Pond Boat Ramp, and we have plenty of room for vehicles with trailers. We have an onsite fish cleaning station and access to water. Local guides available (see link for a local fave) https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089312072251 We are established on 2 acres of waterfront property tucked between a beautiful spillway on a 180 acre pond and a quiet horse rescue. 420 friendly *PLEASE NOTE - We are always growing and evolving, and we have to start somewhere. We have a long 'honey-do' list for this sweet little rental and cant wait to upgrade as we can, so bear with us in our early stages.

3. Little House by The Water

47mi from Deal Island · 1 site · Lodging
Serenity - Privacy - Beauty - This little house by the water has it all. New Sealy queen-size mattress, well-equipped kitchen, Cuisinart coffee maker, full oven, glass-topped stove, new refrigerator, and fully screened porch with water view. Perfect for 1 or 2 adults looking to get off the grid and recharge. In St. Mary's County, MD, just 90 minutes south of Washington DC. However, the space is small and it is really a studio apartment as I think the pictures make evident. Guest access Your own kitchen, your own screened porch, our dock, bird watching (eagles, hawks, osprey, martins, bluebirds), deer, rabbits, occasional foxes, wild turkeys, and if you are fortunate, peacocks. St. Mary's City is 40 minutes away and there are numerous restaurants accessible within 20 minutes even though we are out in the hinterland, there are 2 local bars where live bands play on a regular basis within a 10-15 minute drive. Other things to note This is a warm and cozy space, just perfect for relaxing. There is a bookcase full of books on a variety of subjects, from escape reading to serious philosophical essays, and the water is on view 24/7. There is also a VHS player and more than 40 movies available. There is no cable or WiFi access but most phones work here. Reception for T-Mobile is not so good
