An all-wooded 21 acre Maine wilderness full of all sorts of native Maine trees and wildlife. There is one cleared area that's about 2 acres for parking purposes.. the rest is preserved and unexplored. It is important to research the kind of wildlife you may encounter. Although the campsite is 17 minutes from I-95, it is quite remote.

Back Forty Camping at its best

1 site · RV, Tent75 acres · Corinna, ME
The land our farm is on has been in my family for generations.   It was originally part of my Great Grand Fathers dairy farm.   We took over this section of the land to create our own farm several years ago.  We raise beef, pork, chicken, and goats to sell.   We also have several horses on the farm.    The camping spot has been used by our family for years hosting “back forty” parties and weekend getaways.  The pond was dug by my grandfather over 40 years ago for irrigation.    It is no longer used for that and has become a wonderful frog pond that is stocked with trout.    Over the last few years, we upgraded the camping area with a shed, outhouse, fire pit and granite bench, and a bean hole bean pit.  The shed is used for firewood storage and other camp items.     We have direct access to the ATV/Multi use trail system that can take you all over Central Maine.   We have mowed waking trails around the property and acres of woods to explore.

Pajaritaville, Coastal Maine

2 sites · RVs1 acre · Orland, ME
This property is an excellent location to be near Acadia National Park, Blue Hill, Bangor, and Belfast Maine. It is on RTE 1. The lot is a large, grass, pull-through location. Please read the description carefully. The location is on the corner of RTE 1 and Powers Drive Lane. To enter, turn onto Powers Drive and take a sharp right into the first driveway and onto the grass back toward rte 1. Park parallel with Powers Drive Lane near the big oaks. Pajaritaflora artist Studio/Gallery is located here. I am an artist. I can hook you up to 20 amp service with your long extension chord. You may need an adaptor. Please do not plan to use an electric heater. Only use your RV's built-in propane heater. I have water for your holding tank. Sorry, no sewer. This is an excellent spot for a short stay. It is good if you need to be here a couple of days prior to your campground stay! I have been enjoying hosting campers here for the past two seasons. I can't wait to meet you! This is my third season here.

We are third generation Randalls to own this 100 acre farm. We love the property and we are creating an event venue space. On the farmhouse side we have an original 1800s barn. We are building a large pavilion for events. Behind this area there is a rolling hill which overlooks Dixmont mountains. The farm is just a few miles away from Plymouth Pond, Etna Pond and just about 10 miles away from Newport with ATV trails, Sebasticook Lake and main direction to enter the lakes/Appalachian Mountain region. Stay to visit nature or stay for easy access to the Bangor Waterfront, Cross Insurance Center or the Children's Discovery Museum.

Adventure camping

1 site · RV, Tent40 acres · Ellsworth, ME
Well it’s off the beaten path and very private and quite and time to enjoy the out doors and Acadia and Bar Harbor lots of fun brings your tents get ready to campLearn more about this land:This 12 acre lot in Otis Maine is the best of both worlds. Located about 10 miles from the Otis General Store that offers gas, propane, lunch counter, deli and grocery items, you will not go without. The camper/cottage site is on private land that is heavily wooded and great for hiking and exploring. Please take note: this is not the kind of camp site you can safely and easily find in the dark if you have never been here before. I highly advise to arrive during daylight. There is a spot to pull into the front right of the lot with an additional 1-2 spots directly across the road. Feel free to bring your own tents to set up on the property. At night it will be just you with the trees and stars, sometimes wild creatures who live in the forest pass by so please keep any food in your car or in animal proof containers. You will find many hiking trails in this area located on route 180 and on route 9. Located about 30 minutes from Bangor and the international airport, 20 minutes from Ellsworth and 55 minutes from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
