Renee is a super host! Southern hospitality at its finest! Thoroughly enjoyed meeting her and staying at her property! She let me borrow an adapter and a tarp for my RV. Very quiet and bucolic few acres. I needed propane refill and Renee set me up with a local friend to get some after 2 tries at Uhaul where no one was available to pump. She invited me out for a beer and for a dip in her pool. Would definitely return! Would love to get to know her better!❤️

This property is the perfect place for those who want a true camping experience without unnecessary frills. There’s woods, a short path to hike down, an open clearing, plenty of firewood, and no strictly designated sites. Just find a place on the property you like, and set up your campsite.
No running water, but there is a porta potty. I brought one of the shower bags that you place up high and was able to just put it on top of my truck for a quick shower in the morning.
Hostess met me at the gate when I arrived, gave me a quick tour, and even brought a 5 gallon bucket of water for my shower bag since there’s no running water at this location. Super friendly, very helpful, and I will likely stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay at Susan’s. The family welcomed us and showed us to a good spot ( because there was some puddles from an unusual amount of rain. ) She offered to bring us a fire pit! It was a peaceful night… just what we needed!

I was passing thru on my way West in February '25, and arrived as the sun was setting. The South had just had lots of snow and rain, but Susan directed me to a dry spot where I could camp for the night. It was quiet, pleasant, and safe. Would definitely return!

I wasn't able to make it to Susan's camping spot because of some last minute logistical challenges. I let Susan know and she offered to honor my reservation for the next day. I still couldn't make it, so she refunded me without me asking for it.
The circumstances that led to my missed booking were stressful and Susan's professionalism and customer experience struck a cord with me. I will certainly be back to camp at Susan's.
