We booked this place as we wanted to be close to New Orleans but not pay New Orleans prices! This place is a hidden GEM! It's no resort but has full hookups and is located in a small fishing "village" just 28 miles east of New Orleans. Bradley was a gracious and thoughtful host and offered to move us to a bigger and more private spot (site 12) once we arrived. Unfortunately, we did not have time to take advantage of his fishing charters as he also offers fishing excursions from his boats located just across the street! We will back back!

We changed our course mid vacation and stumbled upon this absolutely gorgeous hidden gem. It was so perfect for visiting New Orleans, but next time we are for sure going to enjoy all Shell Beach has to offer. We really wish we could stay longer.because the hosts are just spectacular. Great hook ups, easy to level, and just a super cool spot. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This place was beautiful. You are really submersed in the small marsh fishing village of St Bernard. A very neat area about an hour outside of NOLA. Host was very friendly and super responsive, the spots are pretty spacious as well. Very quiet area and beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
