30 years ago this was a pay lake it has been shut down for years. I got it a few years ago for a family getaway. So there is some really nice fish in the lakes. We have a outside kitchen with a gas grill, gas griddle and sink.we also have a sink for your use. There is also a toilet with a flushing toilet.

7 Acres close to skiing, hiking, spalunking, canoeing ,moutian biking and over 700 acres across the street of undeveloped Hoosier National Forest . Great for Hunting

 The Cabin is powered by solar & wind and uses a filtered rain water collection system. It is close to French Lick & Paoli, hiking, golf, canoeing, spelunking, skiing hunting and more. Please note that during the winter months the angle of the sun is lower and the panels do not produce as much power as in the summer months (plus you have less daylight hours) . Depending on the cloud cover you may be limited to lights only in November, December, January and February  . There is a generator available for rent at $10.00 per night plus gas or you can bring your own.  There is a wood stove and a 13,000 btu indoor gas wall heater for heat, both units provide more than enough heat. There are two window air conditioning units that can be used in May, June, July and August. Once you get to the end of August or on cloudy days you are limited to the amount of time you can use the AC units unless you rent the generator.   There is a propane cook stove available if you run out of power and 2 charcoal grills (you supply charcoal).   Please note that the cabin is still a work in progress and is not 100% completed. Also note that if rain is limited there may be no water.

Prayer Mountain Mushroom Farm

Escape the hustle and bustle and embrace the serenity of our picturesque 50-acre farm. Each of our three campsites offers a private and stunning natural setting. We believe in making nature accessible and enjoyable for all, so our sites are designed to be affordable and simple. 

Firewood and Essentials

Forget the hassle and expense of firewood—we've got you covered. Each site comes with a supply of firewood. The wood we supply can sometimes be tough to get started. We recommend you bring fire starters or a small amount of kindling to get things started.

Primitive but Beautiful

Our campsites are rustic and primitive, perfect for those who love the great outdoors. You’ll experience nature in its purest form, with the beauty of the landscape and the presence of local wildlife, including insects. It’s all part of the charm of outdoor living.

Trash Disposal

We are committed to preserving the beauty of our land. Please pack out all trash to keep our sites clean and beautiful for the next guests. Trash can be disposed of in the dumpster near the greenhouses as you exit. 

Ticks and Safety

As with any natural setting, ticks are present.  We have been working at eradicating ticks at the camps sites by mowing and using nontoxic DE dust around sites. We recommend bringing insect repellent and checking for ticks regularly to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.

Farm Fresh Goods

Don’t forget to pick up some of our delicious mushrooms and farm-fresh eggs on your way in. They’re a perfect addition to your campfire meals. (Limited Supply. Reach out before your stay.)

To keep things simple and secure, all bookings must be made through the Hipcamp app. We do not accept cash or in-person reservations. If you’d like to extend your stay, please use the app to make the necessary arrangements.

Welcome to our 5-acre corner lot, a unique mix of rural charm and city convenience. This primitive campsite is perfect for those looking to disconnect and experience nature while still being close to modern amenities.

What to Expect:
🌿 Scenic & Secluded – Our property borders Jefferson County Forestry, with an entrance just 1 mile away, offering miles of trails and outdoor adventures. We’re also near Tom Wallace Park, a great spot for hiking and fishing.

🔥 True Off-Grid Camping – This is a bring-your-own-gear site. No water, electricity, or showers—just you, your supplies, and the great outdoors. A fire pit is provided, and there’s a shared porta potty for convenience.

🚜 A Working Farm Community – Expect to see and hear a mix of country and city life. You may hear wildlife, passing trains, tractors, gunfire from Knob Creek Range, and nearby neighbors working their land. It’s all part of the experience of staying in an authentic rural setting.

🏙️ Convenient Location – Though it feels like a getaway, we’re just 5 minutes from Kroger, Walmart, and a variety of restaurants. Downtown Louisville is a 30-minute drive, and we’re 15 minutes from Fort Knox.

Beautifully landscaped, super safe, all full hook up RV Park located along Brooks Run Creek! The only park in Louisville Kentucky with creek front and or concrete pad sites. We are  conveniently located just 1.8 miles from I-65 at the Brooks exit 121 just 3 miles south of the Louisville's outer loop for easy access to all Louisville, KY has to offer . Far enough away from the Freeway so there is no road noise. There are 2 nice golf courses within 3 miles. South Park Country Club and The Crossings Golf Course is adjacent to the park. We are located near shopping, restaurants, Churchill Downs, Downtown Louisville, the bourbon distillery trail, and many other attractions. Many are under 8 miles away. Come visit us!
Daily rates for full hookup starting at $55 a night, weekly starting at $245-$330 and monthly rates start at $495-$925 for the creek front with concrete pad sites. We are the only RV Park in the Louisville area offering all full hookup creek front and concrete pad sites! We also offer over-sized,  pull through sites, and a combo of creek front concrete pad, oversized, hill side, and pull through sites. (All rates include tax and electric except our monthly). All sites include water, sewer, dumpster service on lot 62, lawn care and monitored security cameras in beautiful and very safe park. All sites are 50 amp, and we have 50 to 30 amp adapters for sale for a $25 fee. Currently there is limited Wi-Fi available through the park but especially near the office on lot 50, if you  need it, ask the Manager to put you near it because we are trying to provide a radiation free area for our Manager and guests.
Enjoy the beautiful new landscaping in this Resort like RV Park with twinkly lights that come on throughout the night and we have a beautiful winding creek with creek front sites. The park has paved roads, concrete pads. This is a big rig park that can handle coaches as large as 50 feet. Because we are conveniently located in the greater Louisville metropolitan area, please know there is a nearby train track that comes by a few times a day, but you get use to it, and we are only 8 miles from the Louisville International airport, but there is no freeway noise which can be very loud. We do not have bath or shower houses, or a pool, but we do have laundry facilities on site. There are showers within 2 miles at the Pilot gas station on I-65.
We strive to offer excellent customer service, so please feel free to call if you have any issues! We have an on-site Assistant Manager. Annie is located on lot 12a, and you can reach her after you arrive by calling (502) 276-6090, or look for Annie working in the park. For long term RV guests, we require RVs to be 10 years or newer. We do give variances to some Airstream and restored classic RVs with a picture pre-approval by Management plus there is a free application see our website for an application on the banner.
