The farm is women owned and operated. This 34 acres of rolling farmland, woods and pasture is surrounded by farmland and woodlands on all sides. Enjoy nature. Watch wildlife. There is fantastic antiquing and thrifting in Cadiz and Murray, and I can introduce you to the Amish market for the most affordable groceries you've ever bought in your life. Sometimes I cook for people especially if it's a group. It'll usually be vegan chili con carne and skillet cornbread, Korean chajangmen, or some tasty variety of Asian seasoned vegetable soup with homemade bread. I am 90% ovo-lacto vegetarian except in cases of hunting guests offering their own catfish, bass, venison, boar or turkey, in which case I fire up the bbq and get busy, because hunters are essential for environmental preservation. The fire ring is available for traditional cast iron cooking. Dogs under 50 lbs are welcome if they're trained, you clean up after them, keep them leashed around guests and kenneled at night. I have 2 small dogs and I can kennel them on request.

1 night at Nine Pines Retreats

This “stay” was the best of both worlds for our family. My wife and daughter got to enjoy tent camping with all of the luxuries of home —air conditioning, warm shower and bath, refrigerator! I got to enjoy being outdoors and away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the beautiful stars and campfires at night. We will be back.

What a lovely, peaceful retreat especially for women!!! Met amazing women and also had plenty of time and space to myself. Accommodations are clean. Host and helpers are beautiful souls and so accommodating. I plan to return and bring more ladies. What a gem!!
