We are limiting the 40 acres of timber to five groups of campers to provide privacy and seclusion for all. The spot was very easy to find, close to main highways and was a good level gravel spot with 30 amp service. Communication with host was easy. We were alone which I appreciated because the spots are close together. We didn’t have a picnic table and there was no fire ring. The water was available but more for filling tanks as it is on the other side of the lot. The Winery was very close and had good food. It was loud at first but quiet after 9pm.

A lovely campground! The grounds and the bathrooms were very clean. Had some hiking trails and I enjoyed walking around with the pup. Staff was kind and there is a well-stocked store. It's a little out of the way but that made for a peaceful stay.

Driving through Midwest and needed a place to stay with electric & water… came across Walnut Creek Winery on Hipcamp. Quiet spot away from the highway but not too far off with a peaceful site next to a creek.
We were coming in a bit late but got in before the kitchen closed so we were able to get a delicious supreme pizza with wine flights while enjoying a great cover band. Raymond and his staff at the winery were great! We slept well and were invited to Sunday brunch but had to hit the road.
Definitely recommend a stop here.

Over all the park is nice with plenty of activities. We didnt get C9 due to a mixup but feel like our spot was better anyway C9 is really positioned for two or more RV's to face each other. I would go back for sure.
