This space is one-of-a-kind and it is beautiful! There are so many thoughtful details, and the description in the listing is very accurate.
It is pretty remote, but close enough to stores and other places if anything is needed. I highly recommend this place!

What a gem of a find! This unique location in the northwest corner of Kansas was excellent. The campsites were spot on level with amenities rivaling a high end campground. An excellent bathhouse! Water and electric available. Easy access in and out. And plenty of space to stretch our legs. And if that’s not enough the campground is surrounded by antique farm equipment and a quirky village dated the same as the farm equipment. Several times throughout the year events are held. Tractor pulls, draft horse shows and battle reenactments from different wars. Quite the unique location and camping experience! Highly recommend!

Great stay! Very unique setup from the sleeping "shed" to the bath house silo. This beats a chain hotel any day, I wish I had more time to spend at Benjamin's.

We camped overnight on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves. It was so peaceful with a sky full of stars. Shower and restroom facilities were very clean with hot water. Will definitely be back when in Kansas and hope to view the museum buildings. Howard was very quick to reply to our request to book, thanks Howard!

Very peaceful and quiet spot. The grounds are really well kept and there are a lot of things to see. We took a tour of the museum (which consists of multiple buildings) and it is truly amazing! You could be there for days and still not see it all. I would stay here every time I pass through.

I enjoyed this quiet and peaceful site. Loved the layout of both the sleeping quarters and the bathroom. Enjoyed reading all the notes from the various visitors.
Host communicated clearly and the place was easy to navigate to.
Will definitely check this place out again when I'm heading back to Denver.

Easy to find, lots of room, showers and bathrooms were close by and easily accessible. Plenty of power hookup spots for those that need it. Friendly host and area felt safe. Would have loved to explore the museum but didn’t have time. Maybe next time ;)

5 Acre is a special place. The accommodations are excellent. I traveled here alone and felt safe and comfortable. I was able to watch the stars and several meteors on the viewing spot made out of a silo. The quiet, the peace, the birds! Highly recommended!

This a great place to stay while passing through, or if you want to explore the very interesting facility a bit. We did both! Clean, well kept grounds with a lot of room. An available shower house is a big plus. Howard was a great and helpful host. We'll likely stay here again as we pass through next year.
Helpful hint: Not sure if there's a closer one, but there is a free dump station at St Francis City Park, 15 miles west.

Howard was an excellent host. I feel this museum is a hidden gem for others to discover. He showed me the museum and I dont think we even scratch the surface of all the stories and items to see there. I would love to see someone do a show on TV or youtube to help get the word out about this place

Weekend Trip to The 5acre
The place is super cool the way he managed to make a tool shed and a grain storage container into a bedroom and bathroom is something you have to see. We will definitely be back.
