Many of our sites are spread out so far you will feel like you are the only ones here. We have three 30AMP electric sites and one with 20AMP service, with the remaining sites all primitive. Over 5 miles of hiking trails, and if you prefer cycling, local roads are part of the Two Rivers on Two Wheel bike route. If Kayaking is your thing, explore the Eel River, or the Tippecanoe. When we bought this property in 2013, it was a little run down. Many years ago, it housed sheep and cows. We revamped our little 15-acre farm and continue to improve its looks. Now it is our home and houses my riding stable. Many people have commented on how nice it is. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share its beauty and the animals with others. Learn more about this land: We have 3 spots to pitch a tent, but we're pretty flexible. If you see another area, please ask!. Site "Woods" is most secluded. We now have a cabin!! Our "Chalet". It will sleep 4 and has some great amenities. The others are around our grassy barnyard area where you're able to enjoy all of our different animals!. All sites are 2-5 mins from the main house. You will be staying on our horse farm. We have many chickens, bunnies, a potbelly pig, feeder pigs (depending on the time of year), and our 4 house dogs. We offer overnight equine amenities as well. There are 2 showering options and restroom available. You can enjoy a small fire (weather dependent) or listen to the crickets and frogs under the starry night. Actually, you can do it all. We offer trail rides on the horses as well, (extra charges). You can even book a trip to the state park to ride the horse trails, which is only 15 minutes away. There is a great fishing lake less than 1 mile from the farm, so bring your poles and kayaks. Or rent ours! There is a Dollar General, 2 gas stations, and a liquor store in our tiny little town if you forget anything. Walmart is 12 minutes North of us.

3. Eel River Bison Ranch

We have a gift store with all handmade local products. We have bison meat for sale. You can see bison on the property. And we have walking trails out back in the woods with access to the river for Kayaking We also sell skulls bones and hides. The bones and skulls are fantastic for art and other cool projects. We have indoor plumbing if needed or hookups of electricity for your campers.

Brian has an exceptional campground! Each site is different, well separated and surrounded by his beautiful forest. The stars are amazing at night, and if you pay attention, you can see deer, wild turkey, and owls.

We camped in the front of the camp site We had a nice spot and quiet. We took a trail and met other campers they were super friendly. The trails were really nice . We went to use the outhouse and a squirrel was in there, I ran so fast back the site I ran out of my shoes. I tried again later and a chipmunk ran across my foot . Needless to say we have a great story Host was awesone when bad weather was approaching. He even checked on us . Great visit and we will be back again.😆 🤣

The property has a little bit of everything for a wide variety of camp styles. The campsites are very well maintained. Even the trailways to the sites are kept in great condition. I was able to drive my Honda civic to my site without any issues at all. The woodland is very large. The trails were very enjoyable. Sites are spread out in ways that offer privacy, but the throughways create opportunities for connections with other families as well. Brian is super helpful and a pleasure to speak with. I definitely recommend this place. I will be going back someday for sure.

Brian is a down to Earth very nice guy! My brother and I camped Thu-Sat and thoroughly enjoyed the spacious, secluded, beautiful site! Brian is a VERY busy man but he took the time to stop by and chat with us a couple times. My brother and I also had a great time hiking the yellow and orange trails. We got some wonderful pics of the Fall colors. I made a 260 mile round trip to camp at Walnut Valley and will definitely do it again. One word of advice, it's named "Walnut" Valley for a reason. You may want to bring some kind of padding to lay on top of your vehicle to protect it from falling walnuts.

Brian has an amazing campground, The Mint is one of my favorites, surrounded by tall trees, it is a cozy spot, yet centrally located in the campground. Fall is beautiful in the woods, as the wildlife are out and about. I watched 8 deer strolling by as I was making my coffee.

This our 3rd time staying. A little of the beaten path but more than worth it for the peaceful tranquility and a great stopover on your way to Lake Michigan or the upper peninsula etc. Plenty of sites and lots of well maintained trails. Brian is super responsive and very friendly! The sites cost is appropriate, and he provides firewood bundles and hook up accessories at reasonable prices. 100% recommend..

Visited a couple times and plan to come back for as long as its available... Absolutely peaceful campsite with lots and lots of land. We were able to bring our dog as well. Brian was welcoming and didn't bother us none, but let us know he was there if we needed him. Can't wait to visit Again!!.
