We mow trails for hiking feel free to explore, if you run into a cornfield it's not our property. Bare-bones camping! This secluded spot allows dry camping in a beautiful 9-acre woods. A winding gravel drive takes you to the heart of the forest and away from civilization. Fully self-contained RVs/camper vans can park level and find a large clearing to enjoy the sounds and sites of native Hoosier flora and fauna. This is a single lane with no turn-around for lengthy vehicles. Our family’s desire is to eventually live on the site and some signs of development can be found, but our first priority is the tedious but rewarding task of removing the non-native species (Burning Bush, Winter Creeper, Asian Honeysuckle, Garlic Mustard, Multiflora Rose) to allow for the native woods and understory to thrive. We are a few years into this process and have already seen major gains in the health of the woods, thanks to the guidance we received from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. Limited use of the site ensures the native animal presence is not overly disturbed and preserves a true experience for campers to enjoy. Fill your fresh water tank before arriving and dump your black water tank at a dump station when you’re done. Gray water may be dumped onsite ONLY if you are using earth friendly soaps/ cleaners. Pre-cut and dried firewood for your enjoyment can be arranged ahead of time for a fee. Kindling can be gathered in the cleared areas and along the trails, but we ask that you do not enter non-cleared areas of the woods as this is disruptive to the plant and animal life. There is a one party limit so you may enjoy your nature experience in privacy. With two connecting trails carefully carved into the woods, you are sure to spot signs of creatures like red squirrels, chipmunks, possum, rabbits, garter snakes, frogs, toads, and deer. This property is a bird watchers delight! In the past year, we have observed Blue Jays, Cardinals, Goldfinches, Carolina Wrens, Baltimore Orioles, Cedar Waxwings, American Robins, Sparrows, Tufted Titmice, Finches, Downy Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, and Pileated Woodpeckers. Black Vultures and Red-Tailed Hawks are a common sight, and you may hear Owls during your overnight stay. Despite the feeling of total privacy, this site is minutes from Muncie, a mid-sized city in Delaware county. Muncie is home to Ball State University, which hosts concerts, speakers, and other programs. Muncie boasts an active downtown with shops, restaurants and breweries. Johnathan’s spot totally exceeded my expectations. This is a terrific spot for RVers, given the available hookups. I just had a roof tent, but the extra high carport kept everything from getting wet in a blow-through rainstorm, and the fire pit was a lovely way to wind down after a long day on the road. I highly recommend the breakfast add-on to get a little fuel in you. It’s nothing fancy, but it is tasty and delivered when you need it. It’s a beautiful, quiet property — wish I’d stayed longer than one night to explore the trails around the property. Also, my dog loved it.

Jonathan’s place was great. Very nice site, with lots of amenities. We have a 35’ motorhome and had plenty of room for it and our toad. We were there for a wedding on property also. Jonathan and his family have an event center on the property too. While at the reception, I left the table for a bit. When I returned there was Jonathan playing tic tac toe with our son. Vice nice place ran by great people.

Easy to back in and great amenities for the price. Enjoyed the trails through the woods too. Much better than any campground we've used. We will be back - thank you.

Weekend Trip to Heavenly Acres Creekside Camp

Absolutely loved staying here! I car camp with my agility dogs and was looking for somewhere to stay while in the area competing. Sometimes it's hard to find a place that a) allows dogs and b) allows people to sleep in their cars and c) has spots you can drive into. This fit all the bills so I was really happy to be able to stay! Forrest met me at the gate and we talked farm animals, chickens, ducks... he showed me the camping area and gave me a choice of a few areas. I got set up in a nice spot that was easy to get into and out of because I leave very early (read: very dark!) in the morning for the start of our competitions. It's quiet and private, even though there were some other campers. LOTS of space, so even in the area I was setting up in, I had the room to find some nice level ground to park. I was gone much of the day and early to bed both nights I stayed, but the farm looks incredible and no doubt the farm tour would provide an amazing experience if you have kids. There's a huge variety of farm animals! Easy to find with a sign right on the main road to steer you in. Outhouse on the property is always a big benefit! Loved staying here and will definitely be back!

This was our second stay at this farm. Jennifer and Forest were very caring and accommodating in the way that reminds me of Jesus. What I love about their farm is that you can tell how animals are loved & cared for and you can tell it by how friendly animals are. My kids loved to lead the “chicken army” that followed them.

A perfect quiet and secluded spot by the pond! We loved that Jake met us as we arrived and got us situated with wood and other amenities. We even forgot coffee and reached out and Joni brought us some for the morning. Having the pond and boats added to the experience and my husband caught some beautiful bass. The children and I loved the land and the trails of fields and forest. Will go back again

Beautiful quiet place, nice friendly family! Located a couple of miles off of I 80 Metal car port that you can park under if your rig is 10 feet tall or less. Beautiful setting, I would definitely stay here again!

We LOVE staying at Joni & Jake’s! This is our 2nd trip to their property. The property is stunning with connecting trails to other campsites. This was super beneficial as we had our other family members camping at their nearby site making commuting back and forth super easy! Access to the ponds and fishing is the perfect extra bonus. The paths are well managed and clean with fresh cut grass. The multiple outhouses & water spickets are well kept up and much needed!! Joni is very quick to respond via the app & helped us with all necessary questions. Would love to come back for a 3rd time!!

Tina and Ron are awesome hosts with a great location - just far enough off the beaten path, but still convenient for travelers passing through for one night on a road trip. I was a same day reservation and communication was top notch. I knew before I arrived that I had made the right choice. Ron met me upon my arrival and directed me to my site. Had a wonderful night’s sleep in a peaceful location. I will definitely stay here again when I am passing through this part of Indiana. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a perfect spot to camp simply. Prep was easy - just packed up our tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bags, food, and a change of clothes and we were ready to hit the road. Already onsite were seats, firewood, a fire pit, and plenty of room for so many great activities. My son loved flying his kite, our Hosts were kind enough to let him pitch in and fetch their remote control aircraft, and we enjoyed feeding the fish and riding the boat in their pond. The hot breakfast in the morning - delivered to the tent - was perfect. Unfortunately our dog was a little yippy and got away from us a few times, but otherwise it was such a great experience and we look forward to returning soon!

Joni welcomed us when we arrived and the owners are great with communication. The site is close to Brown County State Park and is spaced out from the other camp sites. We enjoyed our time and the fire pit is really nice!
