Beautiful private spot. With electrical hookups. If you want to have complete privacy to unwind- this is great. Our dogs had a great time running around. The Twin Sisters Brewery nearby was great. Dowagiac farmers market was also fun to do.

This site works very well for our camping set up. Our dogs absolutely love it! We also purchased several bottles of Maple Syrup they make on their farm. Delicious and fun to share with a story of its origin with Family & Friends! Try this site…you won’t be disappointed!!

We had a fantastic stay at this private campsite in Indiana with our two dogs. The spot was perfect—quiet, private, and equipped with full hookups. The host and her family were incredibly welcoming and even showed us how they make their delicious syrup, which we happily bought. The landscape was beautiful, with horses across the street and cornfields surrounding us. A great place to relax and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

We stayed at this place multiple times and have always enjoyed ourselves. It’s a wonderful single site campground that offers water and electricity. It has a great fire pit. It’s very secluded. Our dogs love the large areas to explore. Joseph is a terrific host!

Absolutely perfect, secluded setting. Lots of space, lots of birds and butterflies to admire, and plenty of amenities to boost your camping experience - a shower and sink, trashcan, clean portopotty, a shelter to keep yourselves and your belongings from getting wet, and electrical hookup. Can't wait to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hipcamp! The space was big, wide open, and perfect for our family to spread out and enjoy nature. The host was very responsive and made everything super easy. Highly recommend this spot—we’d definitely stay again!

Passed through for 1 night, but would recommend this peaceful, well maintained place. Hosts were welcoming, communication great, and shared local info for stores, entertainment, etc. They have friendly horses across the road we enjoyed saying hello to. Watched butterflies and fireflies in the flower field next to the site & enjoyed beautiful sunset scenery. Full hook ups were nice. Would recommend a spicket that guests have access to turn on/off water. It was inaccessible due to being connected to the inside of their business building. Site was just as described/ pictured with concrete and limestone (pitched slightly to direct water away from building) but easy to level, easy to find location, easy to back into/exit. We'd definitely book again if we were back in the area. Thanks again Brandi for sharing your property with us!

What a great spot for tent camping! The camping space is huge and secluded. The space has electric and water available to use. The spot was very secluded. I could hear a little bit of traffic from a nearby road but nothing major. The spot is surrounded by trees so it was a little buggy, but lighting a fire seemed to control this. My dogs loved the area as well. They don't get to roam off lead very often but this area felt safe enough to allow them free range. Our host Joe was very responsive and even replied to a message I sent him around midnight. He also checked in with us a couple of different times to make sure we were still doing ok.

We absolutely loved our stay! So secluded and quiet! The dogs had plenty of room to run. Our fifth wheel toy hauler fit without any issues! The owner was very responsive and beyond overly accommodating to our needs! We are already planning a trip back! 100/10 recommendation!!!!

This is our second time visiting. We had a great time again! It’s a very large open space surrounded by trees. We appreciate there being water, electricity and a porta potty. Joseph is quick to respond to any questions, and we plan on returning.

Joe was an amazing host! Very fast at replying in messenger. The property was absolutely beautiful. The photos don't do ithid place justice. I camped with my step mom and friend with our 5 dogs. We attended a K9 obstacle challenge near by. The dogs had a lot of fun with so much room to run! The place was very clean and well kept.
Note: the fire pit is very large and the lowest point is about 10 inches below ground. If you plan to cook over an open fire be prepared to step down inside it. It can be slick. Joe's property is very secluded with minimal noise, being quite a ways away from neighbors. If you are looking for a deep in the woods get away from the craziness of life. This is the place!!!
We did tent camping. But there is plenty of space for RV' s to get in and out a long with alot of space to turn around and plenty of space to be level. The driveway was very easy in and out for large rigs. (I drive truck for a living)
We did not venture into the woods, but our dogs did and when they came back they were quite happy with themselves!
10 out of 10 I highly recommend! I would like to make this an annual trip going forward!!

This is our third time staying at Gage - it’s a short distance from where we store our camper and great for a weekend retreat. This time we opened the camper up for the season, did cleaning, stocking, etc. so the fact it has electric and water is a real plus. The space is private and relaxing. We enjoy the atmosphere and amenities. We will camp there again, I’m certain!

We had a great stay! The property was clean and well-maintained, with a nicely mowed area for camping. The porta-potty was clean, and we really appreciated the peaceful trails through the woods with so many beautiful plants, trees, and birds to enjoy. It felt like a quiet little escape into nature.

Owner- Joseph was really great to work with. He was quick to respond and helpful, and checked on us during our stay.
Site- This place is very private, you don't see any people! We loved that. The place was recently mowed as well. There's a large fire pit, water, shower, and electric. Hard to beat! Occasionally heard a train, but didn't hear it during the night. Also some dogs barking in the distance, but not too bothersome.
The northern trails are pretty overgrown, so we preferred walking and checking out the southern trails. Pretty cool that there are trails at all. Plenty of downed branches to use for kindling and to burn up. I saw some reviews complaining of bugs, we went end of May and at least for us there were very few. All in all this was a really cool spot, especially if what you're looking for is a secluded private spot. We will be back!

One of the most peaceful places I've had the pleasure of camping in. Directions were easy to follow. Starter wood was provided. Having potable water on site was a huge plus. Electric was also available. There's even a porta potty that was the cleanest I've ever seen.
All around this camp is a winner.

Nice quiet area, you don't hear much from the road traffic. You will see absolutely no one unless you go into town for anything. About 10 minutes from in-town Dowagiac, gas station, ice, or even dollar general if you need anything. Walkable trails, and plenty of fallen wood from the woods you have access to for fires. Plenty of options to pitch a tent, and area for dogs to run. Can't wait to come back.
