We had an amazing stay on Sam’s land. We camped in winter (end of Feb), and had the lot to ourselves. Sam was friendly and helpful to get the power hooked up. Our 5yo had a blast playing in the yard, we can only imagine how fun that must be in summer. He got to peek inside the hen house and even got to take some fresh eggs. Make sure to bring an adapter from 110V/15A to 30/50 depending on your RV - it gives you more freedom to put up your RV anywhere in the yard.

What a wonderful Hipcamp experience! I received a very warm greeting from Sandra (and Koda!) who guided me down to the campsite. The site itself is private, tucked back in the woods, with plenty of space to spread out. Sandra had prepared the campfire, and there was tons of downed wood scattered about for gathering. I was able to ride my bike to a nearby restaurant that she recommended (No Prep Tacos—SO good), and slept so well in the peaceful tranquility of her property. I only wish I had more time to explore the property’s trails and brook. I will absolutely stay again the next time my travels bring me through the area!

The site had such great vibes and we enjoyed camping under the stars very much. We arrived late in the dark and Kimberly was so kind to leave out some fire starters and delicious eggs. On our third stay she said that they would be coming in the afternoon to do some work on the property which is a single campsite sharing a driveway with a small house. We enjoyed meeting them.

you can't beat the opportunity to camp at an apple orchard!
this was our first hipcamp experience and it was good! brian was super helpful and accommodating when hipcamp made an error and i am super appreciative!
my biggest heartbreak for the night was that THE tree is no longer there. did i book this site soley for the tree? kinda. i had dreamy visions and plans to hang hammocks with my husband, so for sure pretty bummed that it no longer stands to hang hammocks in, but i did still mange to find two great trees to hang from, and with the views of an orchard! (maybe those pictures should be taken down so no one else is disappointed) i did roll a portion of it to the bigger firepit so i could still enjoy it as a table (it looked really cute actually!) and i did roll it back when we were done.
we really really appreciate an on site potty and ample, great burning firewood!
the street was fairly busy, more than we anticipated, but not awful at all.
and we really loved being the only people there! it's perfectly sized for one family!
we also took a walk down to say "hi" to the horses and to swing like kids on the tire swing (seems the teeter totter left with the famous tree)!
the site has GREAT tall trees for plenty of shade with a sweet wooden swing hanging between two of them!
the sunset and sunrise were both plenty visible and beautiful.

I had a wonderful experience camping here! The location is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained. The facilities were well taken care of, and everything was easy to access. What stood out the most was the kindness and hospitality of the owner—always welcoming, helpful, and making sure I felt comfortable during my stay. It truly felt like a home away from home in nature. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable camping trip.

Like some other reviews have said, and/or maybe the description says, it is by a road, so you do hear traffic, even throughout the night, and the mosquitoes were bad at times, but it's not even ten minutes from lake Geneva, and it's priced right all things considered. Clean, flat, good spot for a tent. Nice fire pit available, and the host shared information to access electric even, but it was good weather, so I didn't need that.

Kimberly's place was fantastic for our purposes, and Kimberly was a delight. She helped out with our dog (via Rover) and also helped us with a few things before we got on the road. And she was a pleasure to talk to.
Again, the spot itself fit us perfectly. And Kimberly had prepared some things before we arrived, like kindling for the brick firepit as well as a bucket of water, which we used for dishes and such. And there were farm fresh eggs available (at a small station not far from our site) for us in the morning, which was absolutely fantastic.
I highly recommend stopping here if you're on the road, especially if you've got a pup with you. Our dog had a fun time checking out the goats and playing with Kimberly's dogs while we were out doing a family thing. But we never got to meet Kevin, the farm peacock, which was a bummer! Lol.

Nice campsite on a quiet Wisconsin lake. Easy to find and level ground for setting up camp. Private secluded spot, but nearby a small community with any supplies you will need.
