The farm sits on 17 acres (with only 1 acre in production) with a 1906 log cabin. The small Silver Butte Fisher River runs just off the edge of the field and is the home to trout, moose, beavers, bald eagles, mink, elk, kingfishers, ravens, deer, and the occasional bear, lion, or wolf pack. Danny has hiked the majority of them in the area and is always up to help plan and recommend local hikes. Furthermore, we are nearby and centralized to many must-see places. As stated, Silverwood Theme Park and Farragut State Park (including their gun range) are all located ten minutes or less from our property. Other places to see include Bayview, Idaho and Sandpoint, Idaho - both situated on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. Things to note: -Your site will be fully stocked to meet your tent camping needs! This includes a picnic table, a smokeless fire pit, fire starting materials, and a pad or pads to accommodate your tent(s). -Nicely sized firewood bundles will be available for purchase. -Our campground has a fully functioning outhouse that we take great pride in maintaining to ensure cleanliness and a pleasant experience. It may just be the biggest outhouse you’ve ever seen! -At this time, our campground is off-grid but we do intend to bring water and power to it with time. Upon request and availability, we may be able to assist you with water needs via a garden hose. Your site will have a large six gallon container of non-potable water to be used in the case of a fire emergency (if safe to do so). -Dogs are allowed, but must be kept on a leash. Please pick up after your pet. -Tessa and Danny were both born and raised in Northern Idaho. If you have questions or need suggestions on anything at all feel free to ask! -We live in an area of five acre lots. You can expect to hear the occasional, friendly neighborhood noise. Weekend Trip to Fox Lane Private Campsite

We booked this Hipcamp as a stopping point along a 10-day, multi-state RV trip and we are SO glad we did. We stayed 2 nights and wish we would’ve stayed a 3rd. It was so peaceful and serene. It was truly the definition of a relaxing experience. The views from our panoramic window were gorgeous, especially at sunrise, and the nighttime sky was insane. We would love to make the trek back someday to enjoy this beautiful oasis again.

This is an amazing site! We came in after 10pm and we were still able to register for a spot and directions were sent through the app. It was so easy to find. There was motion sensor lights to help us back in our RV. Only the lights at our site went on which was nice so if there are other RVs then their lights wouldn't go on and disturb them (though we were the only ones there). It was so quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise even though you are very close to the highway. No problems and felt safe. Very easy hook up, even for people that don't know much about RVs. :) Wonderful experience! 100% recommend this site!

Great spot close to Coeur d' Alene. It was nice to have electrical hookups. Loved the string lights! It did get a bit noisy at times with the proximity of the highway and a shooting range close by. We loved the surroundings and our site felt private. The goats were adorable! Would stay here again.

We camped for one night here in our 13' RV on our way home. We wished we stayed longer. The single spot was well identified and quite away from the house. The simple outhouse was clean and not smelly. There's a small bench set up near the river, as well asba hammock. We saw deer in the morning and evening. Very peaceful and beautiful.

What a lovely spot! Our first trip out in our trailer and it was perfect. Such a nice shaded, clean, level spot with everything you could need. So close to Farragut State Park for a day in nature, but also close to a grocery store for the things I inevitably forgot. Ron and Vicki were so kind and easy to communicate with.

This spot is such heaven I had to stay another night! Imagine finding a bucolic and peaceful wild camping spot- a big clearing with majestic 180* view, wildflowers and herbs all around, and behind you a forest of giant firs and pine, where if you’re as lucky as I was, get to see a herd of elk passing by, as well as plenty of deer. You’re high enough to be above the heat and the bugs, and the only sounds are the birds, the coyotes serenading at night, the whistles of the elk in the woods, and an occasional rooster call from somewhere down below. And as others mentioned, the night sky show above too. And so you’re imagining your perfect wild camping spot right? Now add in the fact that it is pristine- unfortunately so many great camp spots are filled with trash and other nuisances. Or if you’re at a campground or even most Hipcamp places, you’re lined in next to other campers. Near a road. Something that takes away from the magic. Here you have the sweet spot all to yourself. Plus electricity and running water! I have traveled and camped all over the country- wild places, campgrounds, Hipcamp, blm, all of it. This is a gem of a place and a rare find! Also- Jeff, the host- is incredibly accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to any messages!

Cute little spot nestled in the woods. This worked perfectly for our Silverwood trip. Camp was clean and tidy along with the provided restroom. Our host Tessa was very sweet and informative. We will be back!

This is 'The Bee Tree' site and it shows the whole scene. Guests will get their own private smokeless firepit, picnic table, and two clover tent pads.

Tessa’s setup is pretty much ideal for rural camping. Nights are quiet and the campsite itself is well organized, a lot of small little touches that makes it enjoyable. Communication is excellent. Silverwood is 10 minutes away, definitely recommend this !

We loved this camp spot. It was very private and had amazing views. Jeff communicated well and answered any questions we had. It was just a few miles to the Clark Fork River where we went paddle boarding and took the dog swimming in every day. It was great! We have a 35 ft fifth wheel and a short bed pickup. We had to be a little creative to get out of the spot but we managed. We would definitely stay here again.

The site was fantastic. Power, trash, table and lights were all great. I wish a tent site was a little more level but it was totally fine. The trail to the goats and garden was wonderful. My kids loved it and begged to go ever chance they got. We met the owners down there and they were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend.

Had a great weekend camping at 5 acre woods. We had the Bee Tree site and loved the setup. Easy access to tons of hiking and outdoor activities as well as Silverwood. There is some neighborhood noise, vehicles, dogs, etc., but nothing unexpected. Quiet at night and great hospitality from the hosts. Well worth the stay!
