The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley. Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's. Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's. My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917. They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay. Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses. In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River. It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho. This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean. Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights. We have a small RV Park with only 5 spaces. We also have plenty of room for tents. There is 100 acres of BLM land just behind our campground. We have a restroom with toilet, shower, sink and laundromat. We are located in a small town but there is lots to do. Hiking, boating on a beautiful lake and also on the Snake River, fishing with outfitters and guides. There is a really nice grocery store just 4 miles from us. Restaurants if you want to eat out. Also there is a city park right across the street.

The view to the west is horses, fields and magnificent sunsets. To the east is fields and the sunrise over the distant mountains. The rest is our little farm that is not nice and neat. It's a shabby little work in progress.

We were headed to Salt Lake from Jackson WY after visiting Yellowstone and Grand Teton so this one campsite location on the other side of the pass in Idaho fit the bill. Owner was very easy to communicate with. Power and water only.

Great site for exploring Teton National Park! The site was well-leveled with gravel. We loved having a picnic bench—not just for meals, but also for tying up the dogs. We enjoyed being the only camper, and of course, nothing beats having water and electricity onsite. :) K’Lea was super communicative and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Victor is a cute town with everything you need to stick around for a few days. Highly recommended!

Small, rustic campground. (5 sites) We enjoyed full hookups, and beautiful mountain scenery. Really clean bathroom with washer/dryer (free for those in campground) . It borders BLM land. The hosts were outstanding-friendly and available.

Dave checked in shortly after we showed up to see if we needed anything! We had a nice stay while visiting Grand Teton. It’s a bit of a drive back and forth each day but it’s nice to be in a slower paced area each evening. There’s no services at the spot but there is an rv dump site at the closest gas station (Sinclair I think)

We really enjoyed this Hipcamp during our trip—two nights didn’t feel like enough! The host provided excellent pre-arrival instructions, and the site was clearly marked and easy to find. The stream behind the campsite was a highlight; our dogs and toddler had the time of their lives splashing and playing in the water.
Right across the stream, there’s a city park with play equipment, which was a huge bonus for traveling with kids. Victor itself has plenty of great amenities, making it the perfect town to stay in and use as a base for exploring the area. We can’t wait to come back!

Lots of space from other houses. Camp spot is in a field with a short road to a gravel pad, picnic table and water/electrics as advertised. Close enough to the town for coffee or lunch/dinner but far enough away for seclusion. Evening of July 4 had many neighbors with fireworks... did not go on late into the night. Enjoyable! See you next year!🙂

We really enjoyed our stay here. She greeted us the first day to explain a few things and then was there to support us when we had questions. My kids loved the creek running behind the campsite and the area felt secluded even though we were close to town. She was the perfect balance of available but not over crowding. We would definitely stay there again!
