Weekend Trip to Garden Valley Camper's Hideaway

recently stayed at this campsite and had a fantastic experience. The site had all the essential amenities—water, sewer, and power hookups—which made setting up our camp trailer easy and convenient. The parking area was exceptionally clean and leveled. What really stood out, though, were the beautiful trees surrounding the campsite. They provided both shade and a peaceful, scenic environment that added to the relaxing atmosphere. Everything was well-maintained, and it’s clear they take pride in keeping the area in great shape. Overall, this was one of the most pleasant and hassle-free camping experiences I’ve had. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and nature-filled getaway!

We loved this spot on the river! Gorgeous views and access to river. It is very close to road with noise, so might not be for everyone. The lower Campspot (not accessible by RV) was private and felt more secluded and less noise.

Beautiful location, wonderful and responsive hosts. There is a fire pit, Adirondack chairs and lights in the trees. It has a very welcoming feel. When we first arrived, there were deer grazing in the lawn area. There are full hookups at the sights which make life in an RV much nicer. We loved it and would love to go back

3 nights at Caddyshack RV Pad

Perfect spot! Sat just over 15th hole of Terrace Lakes. The location also had great access to trails for our dirt bikes and Rzr. Ground was level and hookups were a breeze. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Weekend Trip to Wildedge Ranch Yurt

We loved the yurt! We are normally tent campers, but with a newly adopted dog and an elderly dog we decided that the yurt was a good alternative this time. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge for a couple of days. It felt private, in and among all the trees. The walk from parking to the yurt was tricky for our old arthritic dog but with a little assistance he was able to make it along just fine. Having the amenities in the yurt of the AC and lighting made it extra comfortable. The stove and fridge made cooking easy. Wade was very responsive and even provided a recommendation for easy river access when we asked in the middle of our stay. We can’t wait to come back again.

The site was gorgeous and right next to the river. Great communication from the host too. The site is close to a road so there was occasional noise from passing cars.

We had a lovely stay on this property! Enjoyed the private area and extra amenities that came along with it. The dirt road allowed for endless walks with our dog and we even ran into a few locals that gave us insight into great trails you can access near the property. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends :) Thank you Ivy for the great communication!

2 nights at Garden Valley River Access Campsite

This is a wonderful site with lots of options and a surprising amount of space! Big flat area effortlessly hosts a giant 5th wheel (or two!) while a shaded upper area was optimal for my camper van or a trailer. Just below that was a long strip at rivers edge (but still a few feet up the bank) ideal for tents and tiring out dogs (or kids!). Even had a picnic table waiting. The site is easily accessed off the road, but that does mean you’ll have cars passing close by (moderate speed, roughly one every minute or two). Didn’t bother me but something to consider if you’re sensitive to that. As another reviewer noted, yes the neighbors play music on a capable set of outside speakers for an hour or two in the afternoon, but it passed eventually and things were quiet most of the time. I’d still come back. Good Starlink connectivity with just a bit of obstructions at the edges that I could probably have avoided if I setup elsewhere.

Weekend Trip to Wildedge Ranch Yurt

Our family enjoyed a winter weekend at Wildedge Yurt to celebrate a birthday. The kids had a blast sledding and playing in all the fresh snow on the hills around the yurt. The yurt itself was very clean, warm, and comfortable. The porta potty was also fresh and clean. We parked in spot #2 near the porta potty. It wasn't a very far walk at all to reach the yurt. Basically just down a small slope from the road. Spot #1 is a bit further, about a 5 minute walk. We brought suitcases, totes, and a cooler instead of backpacks. If you go that route, definitely park in spot #2, or at least unload up by the porta potty. Wade was extremely easy to work with and responded to my questions quickly. He also kept in touch with us about snow levels and access. It's beautiful there! It was a weekend full of great memories and our kids are already asking when we can return! One thing to note: There are 2 roads named Timberline Dr. off Banks/Lowman Rd. If you just plug in the address in Apple Maps it'll take you to the first road (coming from Boise), which is not correct. Don't take that one. Instead, follow the written directions Wade sends you and go to the 2nd Timberline Dr. that starts out as Huston Rd. that is just a bit further down Banks/Lowman Rd. Wade plows that road in the winter as it's basically his really long driveway passing by some summer cabins. Enjoy your stay!

It was a fun two night trip. Ivy is a great host and she was very easy to communicate with. She and answered all of our questions. The property is in a wooded area and very private. It has 50amp service, potable water and a tank dump. It’s close to the little town of Crouch and Terrace Lakes Golf Course. There is a hot pool there as well. We had a great time and we’ll be back.

Garden Valley River Access Campsite

The address to the house next door is 519 MiddleFork Rd, Garden Valley, ID 83622. That will get you to the property. The property is right after 519 it is a large open lot that leads down to the river. There is a black military vehicle parked on the very end close to the house. So there are two sections 1st is a flat section where you have plenty of room to set up tents and RVs. It is right off the road, and any car can get to the site with ease. The 2nd section is more wooded and has access to the river. You are welcome to tent camp here it is just getting an RV down there and out can be a challenge I don't recommend it. Also, the bridge across the river is the neighbors and so is the property across the river. There are roughly 4 campsites on the property but can camp where you want really. Large flat spot above the river that has access to the water. Half of the property is a flat spot for RV's and tents the 2nd half is more green, woody and has access to the river. There is a deeper spot in the river that is 3-4 feet deep and is perfect to lounge in during the hot parts of the summer. Please pack out what you pack in and keep the place nice for the next camper.
