The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley.   Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's.  Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's.  My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917.  They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay.  Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses.  In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River.  It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho.  This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean.  Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights.  Our location sits at an elevation of 6,300' above sea level.Learn more about this land:Located 1 mile from Victor, Idaho along the Old Jackson Highway. Great site for exploring Teton National Park! The site was well-leveled with gravel. We loved having a picnic bench—not just for meals, but also for tying up the dogs. We enjoyed being the only camper, and of course, nothing beats having water and electricity onsite. :) K’Lea was super communicative and checked in a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. Victor is a cute town with everything you need to stick around for a few days. Highly recommended!

What an absolutely beautiful location with direct views of the Teton peaks! Enjoyed an absolutely beautiful sunrise right outside the camper! Robin was a wonderful host, came out to welcome us, let us feed her horses and was very personable. We explored the back side of the Tetons (15-20 min drive) and also drove to Jackson (1 hour drive) and explored the other side during our stay. Would def park our camper here again!

Dave checked in shortly after we showed up to see if we needed anything! We had a nice stay while visiting Grand Teton. It’s a bit of a drive back and forth each day but it’s nice to be in a slower paced area each evening. There’s no services at the spot but there is an rv dump site at the closest gas station (Sinclair I think)

We really enjoyed this Hipcamp during our trip—two nights didn’t feel like enough! The host provided excellent pre-arrival instructions, and the site was clearly marked and easy to find. The stream behind the campsite was a highlight; our dogs and toddler had the time of their lives splashing and playing in the water. Right across the stream, there’s a city park with play equipment, which was a huge bonus for traveling with kids. Victor itself has plenty of great amenities, making it the perfect town to stay in and use as a base for exploring the area. We can’t wait to come back!

Lots of space from other houses. Camp spot is in a field with a short road to a gravel pad, picnic table and water/electrics as advertised. Close enough to the town for coffee or lunch/dinner but far enough away for seclusion. Evening of July 4 had many neighbors with fireworks... did not go on late into the night. Enjoyable! See you next year!🙂

We really enjoyed our stay here. She greeted us the first day to explain a few things and then was there to support us when we had questions. My kids loved the creek running behind the campsite and the area felt secluded even though we were close to town. She was the perfect balance of available but not over crowding. Located at the base of Wolverine Canyon is our little slice of heaven called Wolverine Ranch. It is a 100 year old working cattle ranch. The Camp is located in the Headquarters Wolverine Ranch and we decided to name it Wolverine Adventures after a saying that Kelly and Robyn's family has. If something has to be done on the Ranch that is of a more difficult nature, we ask one another "What time is it? Adventure time!" This gets us through the more demanding tasks on the Ranch and allows us to have fun and humor through it all. As you pull through the Juniper log archway you will drive right through the corrals. Gates may be closed but are to contain cattle and horses, not to keep people out. Come on in and please close the gate behind you. Wolverine and Jones Creeks run through camp and we do allow catch and release fishing with an Idaho Fishing License of course. Camp is the perfect place to unwind after driving all day and unplug from the busy world outside of the gates. THERE IS NO CELL SERVICE AT CAMP!! You may get signal a short walk up a hill above camp. We do allow campfires but only in the community fire pit area. There is a hot water shower with 180 degree views of the Juniper covered hills while you wash the stress away. We do also have a flushing toilet and potable water right in camp. We do offer a few add on Adventures such as trail rides or Ranch tours. These will need to be discussed in advance of your arrival. Communication with Robyn is encouraged via HipCamp messaging as we often are out of service and need to know an approximate ETA. We prefer to meet every guest and help you get settled in, answer any questions, and apprise you of any information you will need to enjoy your stay. There is abundant wildlife that frequent The Camp, including White Tailed Deer, Mule Deer, Song Birds, Racoons, skunks, and snakes. We do allow pets, however they must be on leash and under control at all times, The Camp has resident chickens and cattle and horses are always nearby.

The Shoshone and Nez Perce Native American tribes spent their summers in this area hunting and fishing the many streams in this valley.   Trapper's used the area until the U.S. market collapse of the beaver skin top-hat in the late 1830's.  Mormon pioneers began settling here in the 1890's.  My great-grandparents settled in Teton Valley after moving from Nebraska in 1917.  They farmed this land; growing potatoes, barley and hay.  Today we raise alfalfa/grass hay that we feed to our horses.  In the bottom of our field south of the campsite is Trail Creek, which is the headwaters of the Teton River.  It flows out of the southern Teton mountain range in Wyoming and into Idaho.  This water eventually joins the mighty Snake River near Rexburg, Idaho as it continues it's journey to the pacific ocean.  Summer's here are usually warm sunny days with cool, chilly nights.  Our location sits at an elevation of 6,300' above sea level.Learn more about this land:Located 1 mile from Victor, Idaho along the Old Jackson Highway.
