What to Expect - Country landscaping with native plants and pollinator-friendly “weeds.” Goathead stickers are common in rural Idaho. - Shaded areas, open skies, and seasonal views of horses grazing. - Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests. Garden & Fruit From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable. RV Site Options - Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water. - Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs. The River Lodge Resort property is just under 4 acres on the river with 200 feet of river frontage. There is a dock for guest use and a shallow area with stairs to it for wading and kayak/Paddleboard launch. There are lifejackets, towels, chairs and tables in the small barn by the river for guest use. Lots of pine trees for tent camping and plenty of gravel area for RV parking. There are two private homes on the property as well (owners and guest house). Learn more about this land: Riverside camping has 200 feet of river frontage. You can camp away from the river’s edge & enjoy playing in river some terrain is sloped. Loose gravel RV parking also available. There is one outdoor, half bathroom (no shower). We have a dock available for guest use. We have three kayaks and two paddle boards available for guest use as well as lifejackets. No lifeguard on duty! There is a designated fire pit by the river. Sunsets are beautiful and mornings are peaceful, afternoons sound like a little bit of a party with all the boats on the water. You definitely get the feeling you’re on vacation here. Close to City of Rocks, mountainous bike trails, side-by-side riding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, golf course just across the river and plenty of water sports. No boat launch on property.

There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

The Retreat Juniper Tent/Van sites sit at the base of Green's Mountain nestled among the Junipers and Pinion pines. You will stay just outside the entrance to the City of Rocks National Reserve off the road that connects it to Castle Rocks State Park. Enjoy all the fun of camping under the stars with an amazing secluded location at the entrance to the City of Rocks. Enjoy Rock Climbing, Bouldering, Hiking, Biking, Fishing, and Hot Springs, all within a 5 minute drive! The Park is full all summer but you will have your own quiet base camp 2 minutes away. Sit around the fire pit at night and gaze at the amazing star filled sky. Sites 8, 9, and 10 are all in the same private forested area and great for groups but still separated for plenty of privacy. Each site has a level tent pad, parking area for a car or van (car/van camping ok), and access to potable water, bathrooms, and garbage. We have now added a 15amp plug to each site to provide power for things like phone and laptop charging, air pump, medical devices, or other basics at no charge. Camper vans, or other vehicles that want to plug in to the power will need to pay an additional $5/day electric fee. No EV charging. Parking is allowed right at camp but no vehicles bigger than a van (20ft), and no trailers. No mosquitos here! PET FRIENDLY! This land has been in our family over 100 years. The Retreat has the closest campsites to the City of Rocks.

A great stop! Marni was so friendly and helpful with directions. There’s an adorable cat who will try to be your best friend. All-in-all, the place is nice, not too close to the main house, and all the amenities were as described.

The location was really close to the park entrance. Owner was super friendly and I was able to plug my motorcycle trickle charge in at the tent site since they provide 15amp plugs. I'd totally stay again when I come back to the area.

Really enjoyed our stay at Marni’s site! It had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stop - potable water, a nice campfire area, and a safe, quiet spot before heading down to Lake Tahoe. The two pygmy goats were adorable, and Tonks the kitty totally stole the show - she’s so friendly and social, and made the whole experience extra fun (and hilarious). Marni was an awesome host - super chill, welcoming, and attentive. Would definitely stay again!

We pulled our 19ft camper right next to the Gorge Edge…..with the Sanke River below. UNBELIVABLE VIEWS.. It is all self contained but well worth it. Brett came out to join us after dinner, even gave up some peaches off his tree. LOVE LOVE LOVE this Hipcamp site……5+stars, 100% awesome Review……thank you Brett!!!!

If you find yourself near Twin Falls and you want to find some solitude and sit cloae to the edge and stare out at an expansive canyon with the light playing on waterfalls at sunrise and sunset, then this is your place! Way better than being tucked in between 2 RV’s at an RV Park!

We made a late reservation through Hipcamp. I messaged Arte and Alexandra and they were quick to respond. They answered all my many questions promptly. We tent camped in their driveway while 2 other rv campers were close by on the same property. The farming next to the property was very loud the next morning…early. I had no problem with the owners or property. I felt safe and comfortable. They have a small orchard on the property with the best green apples!! I would camp there again.
