Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens.
Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance.
Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state.
Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination.
1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping.
2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close.
3. No Smoking or Vaping.

Catherine is a very Fine Host. And her place is accommodating and roomy. She also has a water hose that's long enough to reach your Trailer. Which was nice. This was a great place to stay for the night and see all of the lovely animals and property during sunset. The hosts were very kind and we were there for a busier weekend during the Kuna rodeo and Boise hot air balloons which was very fun. We got there late and left very early and everyone was very accommodating. We appreciated the nice touch of meeting the hosts right away when we got there too for a nice welcoming. Thank you again!

We were fortunate to be able to stay in the guest RV as well as the tent site during our stay in Idaho. The property is awesome. If you enjoy a quiet laid back farm atmosphere. This is the perfect place. Ollie and Ripley ( the resident dogs) supply any doggie fix you may be craving.
Ron and Lisa were wonderful hosts. We look forward to staying there again .
