Located on the ancestral lands of the Shoshone-Bannock people, this campsite is nestled under a grove of poplars planted by the original homesteaders over 100 years ago. It features a Tipi, a newly built outhouse, two swings, a picnic table, fire-ring, cast-iron hand pump to access well water, plenty of flat ground for tents, RV's, and car parking, and most importantly, wide-open space in every direction. If you are looking for somewhere completely opposite of hectic city living, this is it.

Futons can fold down for sleeping, or just used as couches for a gathering spot. Folded out they are slightly smaller than queen size.

My Grandfather owned this property for many years.
 He dry farmed this land and raised nine children to be hardworking. I visited this property many times to work along side my father and grandfather. I remember horseback riding and building a shed for my grandfathers combine. I recently purchased this property from my grandparents and got to work building my tiny home that my new family lives in.

Bear Lake Raspberry Patch

Private and serene RV site located midway along beautiful Bear Lake's popular west side. One mile north of the UT/ID state line. 6-minute drive to Garden City. 16 minutes to North Beach. Full hook-ups, 30A electrical service. Shaded by large trees. Two concrete pads for leisure. Please note that water is shut off mid-October. Secluded Maple Creek River bottoms

This property was used by the Shoshone Indian tribe as a summer camp area. Later after the pioneers came they set up a dance floor and had parties here. The dance floor has since overgrown. This property has also been the host to never dams. It has been in our family for many years and we have enjoyed it.Learn more about this land:The campsites are located in a wooded area so lots of shade. 2 sites are creek side along maple creek and the other has a small stream and a pond.  All sites have a fire pit available. All sites are carry in carry out. Easily accessible with a four wheel drive.  You will need to cross maple creek to reach site 1. The road down to the river bottoms is a bit steep so 4 wheel drive is recommended. This area is ideal for tent camping. 

Bear Lake Basecamp!

This has become a great place for our family to go to get away for the weekends. 
The nights are absolutely beautiful and you can see the stars. 
You can hear the coyotes off in the distance chipping and howling. 
My kids love to ride their ATV on the trails and we go for hikes and just relax. 
There is one fire pit for use at each camp spot (2 spots), just please go into the trees and find some wood to re-stack what you have used and ensure it is out with water and dirt.  I fight wildfires during the summer and don’t want to have to fight one up there. Plus I may be hard to reach depending on where I’m located.

Our Bear Lake Bascamp is perfect for boondocking or pitch a tent and camp in our 5 acres meadow or find a small shady spot in the 5 acres of&nbsp; quakies and pine trees!&nbsp; Off grid camping! OHV trails (ride from camp), bring your mountain bikes or even just go for a hike. Located at the edge of the Caribou-Targhe National Forest,&nbsp;Montpelier Ranger District, Idaho. The sunrises are amazing and in the evening you can listen to the coyotes off in the distance. It is open in the winter for snowshoeing or snowmobiling in with wood ready for the fire pit! &nbsp;Recommend, that when you first arrive, build a small fire in the fire pit and the smoke will get rid of any of the bugs around. &nbsp;We get up there about 1 time a month and mow/trim the path, parking and work on the trails in the pines. &nbsp; Turn left at the smile face....When you see it, you'll know what I mean ;) &nbsp;Please be respectful of others who have property in the area as well. &nbsp;Don't climb over anyone's fences.

Lake VIEW RV Site

Park your RV in designated areas and camp on 3 private acres overlooking stunning Bear Lake just north of Fish Haven, Idaho. This peaceful, off-the-beaten-path retreat offers unbeatable lake views, crisp mountain air, and plenty of room to breathe. Whether you’re sipping coffee at sunrise or roasting marshmallows by the fire pit under the stars, this site makes it easy to unplug and unwind.

The site includes electrical hookups, porta-potties, and a handwashing station. While there’s no running water, you’ll have the essentials—just be sure to bring your own water supply. Enjoy direct lake access for ATVs, perfect for exploring the shoreline and surrounding terrain.

Please note: during periods of high water, beach access may be limited. The beach is usually present at the 5,916 foot water elevation. https://www.bearriverbasin.org/reservoirs/bear-lake-area 

The walk to the lake is approximately 1,000 feet to the back gate, with an additional walk or ride across public trust land depending on current water levels. This area between our property and the lake is regulated by the Idaho Department of Lands and is considered state-owned public land, meaning we are not permitted to modify or maintain the path beyond our property line. As such, conditions may vary and the path may occasionally be muddy or difficult to navigate. While access may require extra care, we’ve personally made the walk with our children (ages 5 to 15) even in high water years. The lake in this area is very shallow for several hundred feet, making it ideal for wading and kid-friendly fun when the beach is exposed.

There is no on-site boat launch, but public ramps are just a short drive away.

Please note there are a couple of shallow ditches on the property that may occasionally hold standing water. These have never posed an issue, but we recommend keeping an eye on young children just to be safe. Also, FIREWORKS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

With plenty of space to spread out and no crowded campgrounds in sight, this spot is ideal for RVers and campers seeking peace, privacy, and unforgettable views.

**Off season dates 09/25 - 04/26 no potties or wash station available during this time. Only RV's, camper vans and camper trailers allowed. During winter months the site may be inaccessible due to snow**

Camp Peine

Our property is located North of Brigham City.  We have a gorgeous view of the Wasatch front on the East and amazing sunsets across the Bird Refuge.  This property is primitive.  We have multiple places for a vans to park, from graveled driveways and flat graveled parking areas, too more primitive parking full of grassy areas.  

Welcome to Camp Peine!  We are a work in progress.  This is site #1, its a gravel, terraced parking spot, right off the highway.  There is a lone shade tree and a picnic table next to the spot.

Rasmussen Ridge

Located in Mantua, UT, a small mountain valley in Cache National Forest on the Wasatchback of the Rocky Mountains of Utah. A ten minute walk to Mantua Reservoir for ice fishing in the winter, kayaking, boating, water skiing, fishing in Spring, Summer, & Fall. Pickleball courts are a 10 minute walk away. Mountain biking, four wheeling, side-by-side adventure right outside your RV door to Willard Peak and the beautiful Northern Wasatchback. Use of my huge lawn (next to the field where you park) for lawn games (provided for a small fee), and my in-ground fire pit are available for your enjoyment - must be reserved. Friendly dogs are very welcome - my white Lab is always looking for new friends! 3 miles down Box Elder Canyon to two large grocery stores, Walmart, gas stations, restaurants, and gyms. One hour to skiing at Snow Basin (home of 2002 Olympic downhill), Powder Mountain to the south and Beaver Mountain to the north. World's largest game bird refuge and museum 10 minutes west down the canyon. Utah State University 30 minutes to the north and Weber State University 30 minutes to the south. Box Elder Creek is a 5 minute walk into Box Elder Campground, the poppy hill (2 weeks in June), and wonderful hiking opportunities. The valley was settled by Danish immigrants in 1862, and the property you will be on is owned by a descendent of the original settlers. See more info about Mantua in the link below.

Lava Pine Cabins

Gorgeous pine forested location with breathtaking views is just 7 miles from Main Street Lava Hot Springs. You get 2 privates cabins that can sleep 6 to 8 people in each cabin.  Plenty of tent space to bring lager groups. Amazing fire pit, and a 1/2 mile hike loop around the property. Nice Bathroom, running water and power. So it’s glamping at its finest. Road is smooth enough for compact cars. This is not shared with any other renters.
