Weekend Trip to Snake River Canyon Views

Beautiful views of the Snake River. The space was clean, flat, and had everything we needed for a wonderful and safe stay. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating for our arrival time. We heard coyotes at night, and woke up to the sounds of the osprey flying over the river in the morning.

1 night at Stargazer Breezeway Camp

Amazing spot. I went here solo with my dog while driving on a road trip across the country and it was perfectly lovely. Easy to find, really nice spaces for camping and a nice fire pit and restroom situation (not an actual bathroom but if ya need to do your stuff it’ll do the trick) If I was on a cross country trek with friends, a partner, or even if I did it solo again, I’m happy to have found a spot like this. The host was also super sweet when my plans went a bit awry and moved my reservation to the next day without an extra charge. Seriously, if you’re coming through here and looking for a place to crash this is a great spot

We had a wonderful experience at Pheasant Acres. The site was easy to access, very clean, and had a warm, welcoming feel with thoughtful personal touches that made it stand out. Stacey was incredibly accommodating—when our travel plans were delayed, she arranged a late check-in without hesitation and even helped us find a local restaurant that was still open. Her hospitality truly made a difference. We would absolutely stay here again when passing through the area!

The camping area was beautiful and quiet. We were greeted by the family dog who stayed with us until we were settled. But the best part was the fresh sourdough bread that was made by Brittany!

This was a great spot. The energy is vibrant, the grounds are kept, and it was so quiet. I needed some quiet and isolation for a few days and this was great, thank you!

Weekend Trip to Stargazer Breezeway Camp

This was such a great spot tucked away right off the highway! It was really easy to find and Anna has provided a lot of nice touches that make the space really nice to hang out in. Would absolutely stay here again!

Gorgeous views of the canyon and snake river. The hosts were very kind and available if I needed anything. I had a very peaceful night sitting on the cliff side taking in the views. I enjoyed hearing the coyotes at night from way down in the canyon below, and there was some fun bird watching as well. I loved it and would stay again.

When we had travel difficulties- wind, snow rain & Salt Lake City traffic slowdowns. We were so far away to our arrival time, that Stacey understood when we stopped before reaching her property. She kindly looked up Lodging & prices in the closest town to where we had pulled over. Texting the information to us. Her caring comments and assuring us that not trying to push on into the evening felt like a warm hug from a family member. I hope others will enjoy her hospitality on her property. We might one day too.

This place was sooo cute! It reminded me of the early days of Hipcamp. The highway is definitely loud- so if you’re a light sleeper that will be a challenge. The host provides earplugs! It didn’t bother me, I was happy and comfortable. Perfect for truck camping

Weekend Trip to The Mendoza Ranchette

Arte & Alexandra were great hosts! Communication was super clear, so we had no problem finding our spot and settling in for a quick overnight stay. We appreciated their flexibility with our arrival timing. We had an easy level spot with hookups if desired. This was the perfect stop after visiting nearby Shoshone Falls. Thanks Arte & Alexandra!

What a beautiful place...stayed there for one night on our way from Washington State to the Zion. Plenty of space for a big rig...we have a 27ft but can definitely accommodate a bigger one since it has plenty of space to turn around. We had water in our trailer already and only used the power but had sewer as well. Was great to wake up to a beautiful view! Denise is a great host!

Welcome to Brasil Beef high desert pasture 🏜️ 🌵 Our property is 4 miles from BLM, 5 miles from the Mammoth caves and 10 miles from the Ice Caves. You may be greeted by horses, cattle or dogs on our property, and it's quite possible that you will encounter snakes 🐍 and hear coyotes at night (light sleepers take this into account). We do not have designated areas, please park wherever you desire, walk your route as this virgin ground has many rocks. 🪨 If leveling is an issue & you need to block the road, let’s verify we have no other campers coming. There is a runoff river that runs through the property in the early spring but, rarely has water, however, it has amazing lava rock (similar to Black Magic Canyon which isn’t far away); We also like to use it for campfires! Do not drive into the river bottom unless you have 4WD. Please reach out with questions and we look forward to your visit! Check out all of our extras! We raise Wagyu beef, make sourdough bread, have dozens of eggs on hand from a local chicken farmer and I make tallow lotion! I am happy to help you source anything you may be interested in! 🚌-If you are in a Class A motorhome, traveling East down the 520N you need to turn left on the gravel road (North 250E) and right on 670N-at the stop sign turn right on 3 mile rd E and it will connect you to 520N where you will turn left into the property as the gate is angled to enter this way.

Minidoka County Fairgrounds: The fairgrounds are located East of Rupert encompassing an area of approximately sixty-five acres. The grounds includes a rodeo arena, display buildings (antique building, a commercial building, 4-H building), and open air pavilion for livestock shows, family reunions, and other community events. Hidden behind the main grounds is our small and quaint campground in a groomed grassy field. with a spectacular view of Mount Harrison. The Minidoka County Fair held the first week in August and includes a full week of events including entertainment, open class exhibits, food, rodeo, 4-H and FFA livestock shows. Numerous events are held at the fairgrounds throughout the year including Moto-X races, rodeos, auctions, 4-H events. weddings, horseshows, family reunions, and more. Note-Dates have been blocked for these events. We are fortunate to have this multi-purpose facility for use in our community.

For RVs / Travel Trailers - - Our primary site has water and full 50amp service. We are able to provide a converter for from 30 to 50amp for this spot. - Our secondary spot is a covered RV Bay with water and 30amp service. This spot is large enough for the tallest 5th wheels and your slide outs. - Utilities are $35/night. We do not allow generators. For Tent / Car Camping - - Our primary spot for tent camping is on the front lawn, alongside the house. - We have a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and sink available We are a private home, not a public RV park or campground, which means we, the owners, live on the property and occasionally work here during the day, including in our shop where the shared half bathroom is located. While this bathroom is a shared amenity, it is not a requirement for us to provide it. We offer several spots for our guests and may host more than one party at a time. Arrivals are flexible, allowing guests to arrive at their convenience. Our goal is to provide a beautiful, relaxing country stay for all our guests to enjoy equally. We ask that each guest be mindful that, because the bathroom is in the shop, the shop may occasionally be in use for property maintenance as needed. We also ask that each guest be respectful of others who may be staying with us. The River Lodge Resort property is just under 4 acres on the river with 200 feet of river frontage. There is a dock for guest use and a shallow area with stairs to it for wading and kayak/Paddleboard launch. There are lifejackets, towels, chairs and tables in the small barn by the river for guest use. Lots of pine trees for tent camping and plenty of gravel area for RV parking. There are two private homes on the property as well (owners and guest house).Learn more about this land:Riverside camping has 200 feet of river frontage. You can camp away from the river’s edge or right by the water, some terrain is sloped. Loose gravel RV parking also available. There is one outdoor, half bathroom (no shower). We have a dock available for guest use. We have three kayaks and two paddle boards available for guest use as well as lifejackets. No lifeguard on duty! There is a designated fire pit by the river. Sunsets are beautiful and mornings are peaceful, afternoons sound like a little bit of a party with all the boats on the water. You definitely get the feeling you’re on vacation here. Close to City of Rocks, mountainous bike trails, side-by-side riding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, golf course just across the river and plenty of water sports. No boat launch on property.
