His dream was to raise Arabian Horses, so that is what the property was set up to do and he did just that, very successfully. we stayed here for the second time in about 10 days (on each end of our xmas road trip). joshua was a wonderful host. he made sure everything was ready for us, the lights were on and pellet stove was on so it was nice and warm when we arrived. the first time we stayed, we arrived on xmas night and there was event a little xmas tree out front lit up which was a cute touch and the kids enjoyed it, even though we were all tired by the time we got there. there was plenty of room for our family. the yurt is pretty spacious and very clean and modern. the kids enjoyed the tiered bunkbed and hot coco in the keurig. we had everything we needed to make food and enjoy respite on our journey. joshua is a very thoughtful and responsive host. we will definitely stay here again when we pass through the area.

This is a lovely, clean, modern yurt in the country. We really enjoyed staying here one night on our road trip. The dogs in the area were barking throughout the night, so we did have to use the earplugs provided (thank you!). I will probably use a noise machine next time. Other than that, this place is fabulous and the hosts are very thoughtful and kind.

I arrived after dark and left just after sunrise in the morning, but I was there long enough to see that Larry’s ranch is beautiful and peaceful. Larry was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

The views are breathtaking with amazing sunrise/sunset. The grounds are well maintained and the porta potty was clean. Fire pit and bench/love seats were available on site, but I'd bring a foldable table, and chairs if more than 2 people. A bit of background noise from the main streets in the valley, but that quiets down at night. Expect some stock and wildlife noise throughout. We find out added to the charm, but if you are not comfortable hearing coyotes howl at night, and cows mooing in the morning, I'd bring a pair of earplugs. As others have noted, the "fruit/vegetable" garden was uncultivated during our stay, but the horses were still there across the road and trees from the camping space

Sweet and simple. Beautiful sunset! Enjoyed to sounds of coyotes and sand hill cranes. Able to have a campfire in the grass pasture and porta-potti was clean! Those are my priorities! Unfortunately, the acreage is no longer a flower or vegetable source, but still the horses…..
