While hanging out on our Little Spokane River property, you could encounter moose, bald eagles, beavers, minks, ducks, geese, and other water fowl, hummingbirds, bats (in the evening), deer, and a countless variety of birds and other wildlife. On the other hand, you’re just a stone’s throw from Wandermere and Kalispel Golf Courses, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery and shopping. If you’re not in the mood to go out or cook, Uber Eats and the like can deliver whatever your heart desires! Just 14 minutes away. Designated parking spot directly in front of the unit. Please keep to your parking. If an additional vehicle is coming, please notify ahead, and we can assist to best fit the needs of all. Hiking in park is directly out your door, go to L out driveway just past tree line take a R. Nice hilly dirt loop go over a dry river bed shortly after that it continues up hill or go to R and it circles back, look for manufactured home and take R before that again go over dry river bed. Sometimes it’s wet in February. Don’t cross if wet!

It was so unbelievably cozy!! I highly suggest getting there before dark as it can be pretty easy to miss the marker otherwise. I have zero complaints though; the area was gorgeous, the tent had a space heater keeping us nice and cozy, and the shower was great.

Always a magical stay! The perfect mix of amenities and open air camping. Everything has been considered and packing gets to be minimal because of it. This land has such soul, and the whimsical flowers and decor tell a story about the people on the land. The labyrinth is my favorite spot to take a moment to myself, and the host couldn't be more generous. If you are considering it, you won't be disappointed Book it! We've come back 4 times for good reason. It's perfect every time.

Historically, Deep Creek Canyon was a winter encampment for the Spokane Indians, whose ancestral lands surround us. We feel the healing spirit of the land, in partnership and stewardship. We gather community for Solstice & Equinox celebrations, bringing people together to honor the changing seasons. Our original house was one of the first in the canyon, in the early 1940's. There’s a map that leads you to hidden features, like the gypsy fortune-telling tea house, a fairy mound at the base of a huge fir tree, a yoga platform, and a Buddha bench for contemplating or conversation.
