As all the land here is born of lava, many moons ago this land began to host plants and critters. Long after, it was sculpted and a number of families and farmers have contributed to what we have today. An abundance of fruit and vegetables within sight of the ocean. As this is agricultural lands, there are many critters. Dogs, chickens, pheasants, peacock, mongoose, and many birds. Tge invasive coqui frog is annoying to some and calming to others.
The micro climate here swings from warm and dry to wet quickly. Best to always prepare for rain.
There is snorkeling, beaches, local food, Cafe, BBQ, poke, fish-n-chips, grocery, Sunday farmers market and hiking nearby.
It is peaceful here, but also an active farming community.
As an organic farm, we put alot of effort into soil building and as such, there are soft places that will be damaged by the weight of a vehicle. Staying on the driveway is best. We will guide you to where you need to go.
Our road is paved, but bumpy. Any vehicle will make it without damage if driven slowly. 1 to 4mph tops. *Be sure to avoid the camper rental companies that restrict certain roads.

We stayed here for a night with two sleeping cars and one tent, you got plenty of space. Colin was very nice and always available for helping us. The road to get there is a bit bumpy but nothing too crazy.

As per other reviews, this place is great. Peaceful and quiet. There were some wild pigs rummaging about at night but they weren't too disturbing and when we caught sight of them in the day we were excited to see them. The porta potty was fine. The campsites flat. Good all around.

I loved this site!! Situated on a beautiful farm with a fantastic view of the ocean, this was the perfect place to spend a rainy night.
The cabin itself was super cozy and cute, and while there are two other cabins on the property, ours felt completely private. The porta potty was the cleanest one I’ve ever encountered, and the outdoor shower had hot water, which was super nice. I appreciated how well-lit the site was, with motion sensor lights right outside the cottage and by the bathroom area. The property was gated and the door locked with a key, which made us feel super secure.

Collin and his wife are living in a really nice place. There was a kind of jungle feeling up in the hills. The road is fine to drive, just drive slow and enjoy the nice plants.
The toilet is nothing for picky girls but was near the ground. Go at night and your fine 😉

We reserved a camping spot and arrived with almost no notice. Even though he was not there, Brian was very helpful when we contacted him by phone and managed to get us in and direct us to our camping (RV) spot. We was super informative about the farm and the region.
This was definitely the most beautiful place we stayed on the island.

Vicky’s yurt was on a beautiful and peaceful property, and both she and her husband were so welcoming. We loved the breakfast and all the fresh, local fruit included - a perfect home-cooked way to break up all the restaurant meals!

The property was undeveloped but that made it fairly private and more immersive. We saw a lot of birds, which we loved. Colin was very communicative which was helpful in finding our spot and enjoying our time there. If you’re looking for a spot to just sleep for a night, this is a great choice! But if you want more amenities, it might be best to look elsewhere.

We had a beautiful view from our campervan parking pad.
We arrived just at dark on a Christmas Eve. The drive in is well paved, though moderately bumpy.
Because we caught some rain overnight, I was concerned about traction the next morning for our departure. The pad and driveway presented no problem.
We were a close distance to a fire ring and porta potty. The restroom was very clean.

This is nice land to stay on, if you’re lucky and the sky is clear at night the stars are unREAL. Colin was very responsive and helpful. It’s a bring your own everything type of place, but there is a portapotty that works just fine for what you need it for (hasn’t been serviced in a while but it was perfectly functional and not gross. There’s a beach with a shower not too far away so that’s helpful! There are pigs roaming around the shadows at night but none bothered us or came near our camp while we were outside. We really liked our stay and would stay again and recommend to folks that can handle the minimal amenities like we can. Thanks Colin!!

This was our second early-December stay here. The property is in an excellent location above Naalehu, is easy to find, and has spectacular views of the surrounding hillside and ocean. Brian, the onsite manager, was responsive and friendly, and made us feel welcome. The cabins are cute and clean, and the crickets and coqui frogs serenaded us to sleep. The outdoor shower is private and clean, and has plenty of hot water. This is a simple little gem of a place, and we would definitely stay here again.
