This was a nice stay! Although it was basic, it served the purpose and was just what I needed. Quiet, and the host was nice to check in and see if I needed anything. The animals were very sweet and nice to visit. The only feedback I have is about the shower- the shower curtain was quite flimsy and thin, and there was no additional door or changing area. Especially as a solo female traveler, I would have preferred a door or a sturdier/less see-through curtain. Thank you!

Sun Farm is a gem, away from the crowds, cozy yurt, nice kitchen, hot shower, clean, exactly what we needed. We knew about the hens and it was quite an orchestra overnight but we had earplugs and it was fine. There were mosquitoes but none inside our yurt. It was a great middle point between sunrise and sunset. We would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing this piece of Paradise with us!

It was just the place for me and my 2 teens. We enjoyed the outdoor feeling while still being close to the city for shopping groceries within a 10 min drive. Ear plugs are a must if you are not used to roosters and the wind. After the first night we got used to the sounds. The outdoor showers were nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Exactly as described. If you can't handle bugs don't stay here. Aside from that, this place is an amazing place to stay in Oahu if you want to be removed from the hustle and bustle. We stayed in Waikiki for 4nts and here for 3nts. Total opposite ends of the spectrum but totally worth it. The farmstay has a backdrop you only see in movies. The natural sounds were soothing and the facilities were just fine (as long as you don't expect A/C and a TV. It was great to be disconnected from the real world. There's a backup generator for power if the solar battery bank runs out. With that being said, it was nice to be in complete darkness to be honest. If you've camped before then this would be perfect for you. If you have not camped before but want a break from city life then give this amazing place a chance. Wonderful experience.

Very cool farm with fresh produce, goats, and chickens. Volunteers were kind and knowledgeable, and it was wonderful being amongst all the trees. Other campers were respectful as well, and there's a farmer's market nearby on Tuesdays! Will happily return.

The Farm had everything to enjoy Hawaii. It is definitely camping. I would not call this glamping as you do have crows throughout the night lol still enjoyable still fun. Def bring earplugs. Use the prettier shower as the water def stayed warmer way longer. I didn’t get to interact as much as I thought I would with other visitors. Also I traveled alone and felt very safe and I think that’s more than you can ask for.

What fantastic hosts at the most peaceful local farm that we enjoyed to the utmost. We we attending an event in Waimanalo & though enjoyed the event wished we could have stayed at the our tent camp the entire time. The unit had all the amenities we needed & more. The deluxe tent with the most amazing comfortable bed, well placed lighting & cozy comfort. We slept so well, we ordered the same bed. Thank you so much Dave & Lex for everything. We really enjoyed our stay here. It felt like we were a world away. The farm was so beautiful and peaceful. Dave is a wonderful host, he is kind, friendly and easy to communicate with. You will feel the aloha spirit here. Bring some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. You can hear everything around the farm, especially the numerous roosters that roam around the area and crow at odd hours of the morning. :) Definitely bring mosquito repellent as there are lots of mosquitos that hang out at this super cool place.

Beautiful farm, the yurts are situated right there among the coconut and banana trees. Inside the yurt and the common areas are nice and clean and everything is easy to find. Would 100% recommend the Sun Farm Tour, Elisa was very knowledgeable about all the plants around the farm, I was able to sample a lot of different fruits straight off the tree, and the vegan banana ice cream and fruit breakfast was phenomenal. Ask to try the noni juice, it's not good but it's worth trying once :)
