2 nights at Gingerhill Farm Retreat

We loved this location. So close to lots of the activities we had planned around Kona. Also not far from restaurants and a laundromat. The room was close to the parking area. We had a little decking where we could dry our swimwear. The room was nice and spacious so we could spread out our suitcases. Didn’t explore the farm much because it was raining but loved patting the cat that liked to sleep on the decking. The room also felt very private and the farm is behind a locked gate. Definitely recommend

1 night at Paradise yurts

We loved this luxury yurt, we wished we spend more time here. Everything is just so nice and lovely. They had an amazing bathroom with extreme pressurized shower, which my bf loved. They made us breakfast sandwiches with fresh papaya and coffee. You also get to pet 2 lovely dogs and a cat, with a very stunning views of the ocean by their pool! We were so spoiled! If you made it this far, book it!!!

Weekend Trip to Paradise yurts

We had the most amazing time at Vicky and Casey's Yurt. From the breakfast in the morning to the outdoor shower after being out all day. The welcome greeting from Casey and the friendly dogs started our stay off on the right foot. Everything was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back. Wish we could have stayed longer. Easy access to the volcano and beaches.

There are covered one rooms with bed and battery pack for low use charging and a light. There is an outdoor shower and portable potty. Brian (local) watches the place and is with intersting stories and island guide if you inquire. Great off the beaten path for travels on the south side with easy close access to 11 and around 30 minutes to south point and slightly further to the Kilauea. Great sunrise and view of volcanos in distance !!

Weekend Trip to Paradise yurts

If you’re reading this stop what you’re doing and just BOOK IT, you’ll thank me later! Not only was this the best glamping accommodation I’ve ever had, but on top of that Casey & Vicky provided a level of service you’d only expect from a five star resort. Not to mention it was at an incredibly affordable price. Their property is gorgeous, providing a high end ranch style feel with many animals on the property as well as high end accommodations and amenities making it a truly luxurious experience. Although the yurt and property was incredibly impressive, I have to say that Casey and the service he provided was probably the highlight of this stay. He was professional, personable, and incredibly helpful! He cooked an amazing breakfast each morning that was enjoyed on their patio/pool area with a view. He also provided great recommendations for things to do in the area and great conversation overall. I can’t say enough good things about Casey and the paradise he decides to share with his guests. An absolutely amazing stay overall! 11/10 experience that I would definitely do again

Weekend Trip to Sunrise Cabanas Panoramic Views

The Property is Amazing... Such a huge area with Beautiful Sunrise and you can see the Plume of the volcano. It is about a 40 minute drive to volcano national park.. The cabanas were clean and cute.. a definite hippy vibe... Shower is hot and bed was comfortable at butterfly pea... I wish I knew that they were not offering dinners there... I guess they are selling the food truck.. But the forage tour was so much fun!! Over all a Great Experience. Would come again... Mahalo 🌺

I loved the camping site, super clean bathroom, spacious shower, paper toilet so soft, dogs are very cute, convenient electrical power charge, drinkable water accessible for free, a cozy place to cook our meals after sunset. Macadamias and mango from trees were delicious! Our host was welcoming and well prepared for our stay.

Had a wonderful stay at the property. Great location with incredible views, all the needed amenities and a very comfortable bed that allowed us to feel fully immersed in the Hawaiian outdoors. The pictures really don't do justice to the views you get here. Easily the best views of anywhere I stayed during my trip, unfortunate I was only there for one night. Jasmine came to greet me, showed me around the site and dropped off some bananas from the farm. Cabin is comfortable and very relaxing, and the outdoor shower is both warm and has great water pressure. The stargazing is incredible when the weather cooperates. Excellent food and coffee options just down the hill. Yeah, just an overall excellent location. Highly recommend.

We loved Paradise Yurts -- the yurts are spotless and airy, and full of nice touches. The views are great, and it was fun to see the horses, sheep, goats, dogs, and cats. And that outdoor shower -- DIVINE. The hosts were very friendly, and we loved the vegetarian breakfast they made for us. We were sorry not to have booked a longer stay!
