Weekend Trip to Papaya Patch at Sunrise Horizon
This is a great little spot. Truly all you need. A good view, a big bathroom with hot water, good location and clean. We liked the little off the beaten path neighborhood. Everyone there is wonderful. Close to South point and green sands beach and just quickly off the highway between Kona and Hilo. Brian is a great guy with awesome tips and a cool attitude! Hope to see him again when we come back next visit. Thanks so much so the chats Brian <3

I loved the space and lodging! Getting up in the morning was so relaxing listening to all the birds. It was amazing watching the sun come up and the views over the ocean. Brian went above and beyond to support us and our stay. He was lovely with our dog Kona and provided exceptional care for our stay. 10/10 would book again!

Weekend Trip to Pele’s Eye
Ruebon (the host) and his wife were amazing. The instructions to access the property were extremely clear. Additionally, he was there to greet us with a very warm welcome and explain where we would be staying. The property itself is amazing and I can’t think of a better scene to wake up to. Their hospitality was off the charts and I highly recommend this stay!

Very cute little place, nothing fancy but do you really need a fancy place to sleep??? We prefer to spend our time exploring on vacation not hanging around the house. The house was clean and had everything we needed and a few we never knew we needed. Carol was very sweet and showed us around the property along with history of the area and where to go for supplies. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Carol's tiny home. She truly shares the true Aloha spirit here on the Big Island. Her place was great for my dog Tyga. The dog run was set up in a beautiful yard that shares the outhouse. The outhouse was clean and easy to use. All and all a 10 for the price and privacy. We look forward to returning for another stay. My spouse and our 2 boys stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it! Keep in mind the road noise can be busy at night (earplugs would be an easy solution), but the beauty of the land and lovely lanai is totally worth it! The location was great for exploring the north side and it’s very close to lapahoehoe point and the kids loved to swim in the tide pools. Truly magical and Carol is a wonderful host! We would stay here again and hope to one day!

We had a great stay at Carol's place. It was a rustic small cabin/house with outside shower, kitchen, and a very clean outhouse. It was an older shed that had been refurbished, very eclectic and clean. Nothing fancy but had everything you needed to unwind and experience the true Hawaiian countryside. Carol provides comfortable beds with linens, towels, coffee maker, pots, and utensils for cooking. Although no internet, there were lots of DVD movies and TV monitor, although the peacefulness is much better. The well maintained grounds were filled with fruit trees and lots of Hawaiian plants. Carol and her friendly cats treated us with the best of care. We will certainly be back since we are retired on the southside of the island. Mahalo!

Very quaint little house with amenities and a fenced in garden/lawn. This worked out great for us as there were flooding rains that night. Keep in mind location is next to highway and lastly host is 10/10 very kind and made sure to greet us on arrival and do a walk around. Thank you we appreciated the little spot :)
