We have a hidden exotic fruit orchard tucked away through rolling green hills, perched over the Hamakua cliffs, overlooking the pacific. We sell our fruits ripe and cut ready to eat at our roadside fruit stand, open 10-6 daily including holidays! We serve local fresh juices and machete open coconuts to drink ice cold. We grow mango, durian, lilikoi, star fruit, chocolate sapote, buddhas hand citrus, finger limes, tangerines and tangelos, jackfruit, tree grapes, mangosteen, white pineapples, mountain apples, berries, spices and much more. We are home to dozens of rescue animals, many who came from Puna during the 2018 lava flow. Meet peaceful sheep, lambs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, geese and a lovable pet pig. Not to mention our friendly farm cats. We are a community of a few passionate farmers and fruit lovers. Beautiful peaceful spot. Loved the yummy treats from the fruit stand before settling in for the evening. The porta potty provided was the cleanest we’d used in our whole 10 day trip! Had a visit from the sheep in the morning before heading out. Thanks for the stay :)

Nice private camp area behind locked gate. Careful there is a lot of broken glass as you drive past the gate towards the campsite, I cleaned up a lot but the more I cleaned up the more I found. The code to the gate was wrong on the directions - luckily there was a worker at the fruit stand that gave me the right one. Tried to get a hold of the host regarding wifi but took over a day - called twice, WhatsApp, text - she finally responded to a text. Nice place to unwind and not have anyone bother you.

We camped in our campervan and it was easy parking, quiet and level. Make sure you communicate with the camp before getting there as we didn’t have cell service once there and the starlink did not show up on our phones. Also make sure you screen shot the route or download your map app.

Lovely and peaceful spot! Unfortunately we couldn’t make it before dark so had a hard time navigating to the place and within the grounds. But once we got settled we were amazed by the Milky Way view - best stars I’ve seen in a long time! The sheep gave us a very friendly greeting & we thoroughly enjoyed the fruit stand offerings. Def recommend it for a basic and peaceful camping experience!

Rose and Family were very nice and accommodating, making it very easy to find. It felt very safe and secure there. Her beautiful land and Fruit Stand were the real stars of the show!!! We woke to a deeply beautiful landscape with sheep roaming close by, who grazed pleasantly close to us during our breakfast; and afterwards we partook of her very tasty Fruit Stand!!! Definitely recommend both the chilled coconut and the fresh squeezed sugar-came and ginger juice!!!

What a beautiful place to start our trip!!! We stayed here as our first night on Hawaii Island before heading down into Waipio valley for another hip camp stay and some backpacking and it was a fantastic way to start our trip!!! The tent we stayed in was luxury at it's finest with a super comfortable bed, spectacular views and all the amenities that you could ask for!! It felt more like luxury than camping and we absolutely loved it!! Greg and his family were very friendly, kind and helpful and we are so grateful for them sharing their home with us!! Starseed Ranch was an awesome space to unplug. Our little Hale was very cute and adorable, with a nice covered porch, comfortable bed and little closet + drawers. The roof makes a lovely sound during a rain storm. We had the place to ourselves, which was lovely, but would love to see this place in full force. The outdoor kitchen and sitting areas were well maintained and ready to host a feast. Next time! Was great to see some regen ag up close. Loved our time here! Highly recommend!

Greg was very helpful and the facilities were very clean, well appointed and easy to use. The tent was absolutely glorious with an unrivalled view! Would certainly stay again.
