My husband, my two children, and I had an amazing time at the airstream! It felt decadent to have our very own hiking trails. It was remote enough to feel like we were really out in the middle of nowhere, the stars were so incredible because there was no light pollution.
The airstream itself was clean, well stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed eating at the picnic table for all of our meals and toasting marshmallows. The outdoor shower was a hit with my husband and I, and because there was a little bathtub, my children were able to take a bath after a very dirty day outside.
We would really love to come back in the future and visit again! Highly recommend.

1 night at Peace Apalachee
Beautiful, peaceful, private site. No super close neighbors. As a female traveling alone I felt completely safe. Loved the covered front porch, sat and watched the rain while working on my computer. Listened to the birds and crickets at night. They have fans, shades, lights, so many nice little touches to make it a comfortable stay. Enjoyed hiking the property (very clearly marked and maintained trails) and seeing the river. Had a bonfire at night when there was a break in the rain (was glad I brought firewood as I didn’t see any at the site). The rv was adorable, boho/minimalistic/tastefully decorated. Little lights and coffee/creamer/coffee maker provided. Lots of thoughtful touches, bottle of water in the fridge, lighter, etc. I only stayed one night but want to come again to enjoy the hammock, outdoor shower, kayaks. This place was a steal for the price and the host was friendly and communicative and respected my space. I especially enjoyed watching armadillos scurry around at night. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location in the woods very peaceful. Great having best of both worlds privacy when needed yet access to pool and hot tub when you want it. Stephanie was extremely helpful with all of our needs.

Weekend Trip to Farm At Little Fox Hollow
The campsite and farm were absolutely amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay at the farm and seeing all the animals. I will definitely be back again, 10/10 recommended!!

Weekend Trip to Stone Mountain Glamping Site
Loved the tent camping provided including the appliances available to cook. Great sleeping space in the tent. Only recommendation is if the tent for the toilet is a little bigger. It was quite difficult to utilize due to the tight space. Other than that, I recommend if you need a quick and simple space to get away from the city.

We rented Kim's campsite for my husband's 40th birthday celebration. The woods on her property are lovely and private. You feel isolated, even though her property backs up to neighbors. It's super tranquil. We did not spend the night, as we had toddlers and only live 30 minutes away. We did utilize the fire pit and the additional wood Kim gifted us was very appreciated. It had been raining for days (weeks) and the ground was muddy. Kim put down hay for us and it really turned out to be such a fun experience. The grill was basically brand new and there were so many additional amenities (plates, cups, grilling tools, a firestarter bundle).
Even though we didnt sleep there, I could imagine a really fun night time experience. It is well lit and there are extra chairs and lanterns
We loves exploring the woods and walking on the trails. A few weeks later and those bluerberries would be ripe and ready! Thanks for the wonderful time, Kim!

Weekend Trip to Glampsite 17 Acre Farm South of ATL
Super cute little place, I really wish I had been staying longer to enjoy the hangout area in the barn. It was decorated so nicely and the bed was quite comfortable.
Only complaint is the camper did not have curtains on all the windows which let a good bit of the lights outside in at night.

I enjoyed a nice, quiet retreat. It rained nearly the whole time I was there so I didn’t make use of the swing bench or the fire pit, but I absolutely would have if it was dryer. Even so, the tiny house was cozy and I was happy to cocoon inside. I would definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to Stone Mountain Glamping Site
This was my first time using HipCamp or any renting platform, I was a little nervous about figuring things out, timing, etc. Leading up to our weekend stay, Kim was ready and willing to answer any questions that I had. Kim & Taylor are so awesome, communicative and super helpful!!!! Their space is beautiful! My partner and I enjoyed our stay so much!! It’s a super cozy and peaceful spot.

The time we spent in the Airstream was truly magical. We loved the vintage look of the interior and enjoyed all of the appliances and devices to make our stay comfortable. The outside shower was one of my favorite. Hosts were great! They were helpful in being flexible as our schedule has changed a few times, we really appreciate it.

We chose Kim’s spot because my mother lives near Stone Mountain and we wanted an adventure while visiting her for Easter. Situated in a quiet, residential neighborhood we felt completely safe being so close to Atlanta. I liked the well lit, large off street area to park. There’s plenty of room for multiple cars. Kim’s manager, Taylor, met me on-time, gave a wonderful orientation of the grounds and set up an extra hammock for us. I visited with my brother, so I rearranged the furniture a bit but the large canvas tent easily accommodated my cot. The memory foam mattress was great, the potty was easy to use and the trails through the woods were clearly marked. When I visit my mom and the weather is agreeable, I hope I can stay again. We loved it! It was a quaint little hideaway that wasn’t too far away. The road noise got a little loud at some times, but it wasn’t too bad. We enjoyed the dogwood tent. It had everything we could’ve needed, if we had come unprepared. Everything was just nice and clean, even the canoe! We definitely would recommend and even plan on a return visit with family. The host was very helpful and responsive. For hipcamp bookings, the reservation number is a little different than from Ramsden Lake bookings, so for any add ons, just reach out to the host for your reservation number.

When to go
Georgia’s mild climate is great for a long outdoor season—spring, summer, and fall are ideal for all types of camping, and September and October often see fewer crowds than in summer.
