Located in the heart of southeast Georgia, in a land of tradition, we strive to keep our country roots, where Southern Hospitality meets hillbilly. All our buildings are rustic, in keeping with the old-timey mountain music that we play.

If there's one thing our guests have to say about us over the years, it's that they always leave here feeling like they're part of the family.... because they are.

Electric, water, and sewer are available, and WI-FI is provided as a courtesy to our guests

Be sure to be on the lookout, and sneak up on the pond and swamp quietly, as you could see wild turkey, deer, beavers, otters playing, birds of all types, including ducks and geese. Once in a great while, you may spot our little alligator hiding out at the back of our pond.

Canoochee River Rentals

Michael and Kimberly Duke bought a small cabin on the Canoochee River to enjoy as a family.
 They decided to list it on a vacation rental site.
 As this property was in full demand, another property became available to buy.
As interest began to increase, the family decided open up the options for their visitors.
 At this current date, they have four  cabins and a yurt, as well as, tent sites.  We are excited about the yurt that was completed in August 2019. They are looking forward having another cabin in the near future.

Bliss Hills Farm

Our beautiful unique property has been in the family for 3 generations. Over the years, our family, plus artists, musicians, & writers have come here to refresh and get inspiration from nature. But with Hipcamp, we've opened up for others to enjoy.  
We limit the number of guests staying here to no more than 10, but the daily average is only 4. 

We have walking trails, a pond where you can kayak, relax on the dock, or feed the huge fish (sorry no fishing allowed.) Also, on our property, there are swings, a tree house deck, obstacle course, fire pit area, wooden bridge, picnic table, and abundant bird life. There's also plenty of wide-open space where you can play frisbee, run, do yoga, and stargaze at night.

There's plenty to do in this area, using the farm as your base. Claxton, our hometown, is a great friendly, small-town with grocery and hardware stores and restaurants. Many guests like to side-trip over to the towns of Statesboro, Metter, Vidalia, and Savannah, plus the Golden Isles.

Night falls and the dock lights come on. 

The tree loft and obstacle course is available for adults, kids, and dogs.

Remember this is a primitive camping area. No electric. I can bring you fresh water for drinking and cooking, or you can get it from our spickets at the greenhouse and garden area.
You will have 3 choice's to camp 

Next to a small pond in a shady place (we are cleaning up from some storms, it may not be ready for camping however you can still explore on foot and fish)

An open grassy field next to the garden, this space has spickets to hook up for water and a regular outlet for electricity but not to run a camper.

Under a large oak tree. 
You can drive right to this area. Very quiet and peaceful.

There are 2 spots by the pond, 2 spots in the grassy area and 1 under the oak tree. Water is available for all at the open grassy areas.
