Nice "yard" area for the RV. The RV space is very close to level. Many great spaces for tent camping and hiking. Bring your camp chairs to sit around the small firepit (just a circle of rocks, really). The property is very dark at night so if you arrive after dark, you will want to have a good flashlight.

We are a working aquaponics farm, located in Marion Co Georgia. From maps it shows that we are about 13 miles straight line distance from Columbus Georgia. That would be true if you could drive through Fort Moore. You cannot so we are actually about 35 mins or 23 miles from Columbus. The drive is pleasant with very little traffic.
Our campsite sits beyond the gate in front of our small farm/general store. There are rustic bathrooms with hot water, free WiFi and plenty to do! We encourage you to hike, bike, and explore. ** We are in rattlesnake and copperhead season. (SEP - OCT) Please be mindful hiking on warms days and evenings towards dusk. **
The store is not open at this time, and the Greenhouse is available by request.
Deer, coyotes, wild hogs, and other creatures roam freely. Any pets must stay fully leashed at all times (see below).
Our day starts early in the summer as we harvest for market. We make every effort to be very quiet, but the field crops are close to your camp site. We will never run a tractor until after 11am. You may hear the greenhouse fans kick on starting around 9am when the system starts warming up.
Pets - Are welcome if contained on a leash at all times.
Bathrooms - are located next to the store and a short walk from your tent site.
Site - Is on level ground for tents campers RV vans and more. There is a fire pit, picnic table and water spigot. The water is not well water and comes from the county main water line. There is a main highway leading up to our gate so you do not have to off road to get to the property.

It is 20.54 acres peacefully located between big land owners on each side, and a creek that runs through the middle that separates north from south pieces. Our trails are groomed and some just deer worn. We have one camp site that is rural and rustic. There is a bucket for the restroom and antique, old white kitchen sink for hand washing just outside it. There is no running water yet, but working on getting a water reservoir out there asap. No electricity yet a single power cord could be run for extra $10.00 for your visit. There is a fire pit close to the tent spot on, “Skip’s Campsite”.
Another camp site” Aqua-Fine-A” that has a walk in creek access, and you have to cross the creek to get to that one. It is farther away from “Skip’s bathroom access. It has a more established flag stone fire pit. It is our original primitive sight. There is no water reservoir or possibility of electricity at “Aqua-Fine-A” campsite. Everything must be packed in and out on foot.
Both sights require a hike to campsites on foot with uneven rooted trails. {You are welcome to use our well loved red wheelbarrow to haul items in}.
There is access to a bigger fire pit “M & M fire pit”, and a propane grill option (this is first come first serve/sharing spot).
More campsites developing over time and there is a massage practitioner on site if you are looking for the whole experience (29 years experience in healing modalities and shamanic blood line).
If you are looking to experience nature cabin style then, “The Minor Escape” is for you. This has a full refrigerator, full stand up filtered water shower, kitchen sink, separate master, two bedroom lofts with ladder access, kitchen sink, ceiling fans, window a/c units for summer and space heaters for winter (Eden pure heater that shows fireplace flames).
Our family loves this land and there is always new areas being cultivated in various spots. You will see us out there either with our hobby farm of animals, gardening or building a new area. We had an excellent stay on Jon’s property. We came to Senoia bc my teenage son wanted to see the set tour for The Walking Dead for his birthday. Jon’s property was conveniently located 10 minutes from downtown Senoia, but felt far away in the woods. We did all things Walking Dead in one afternoon and spent the rest of the weekend hanging out at the camper. We have a 22 foot hybrid and had no issues parking. Hookups were easily connected as well. We made a beautiful fire for about 7 hours one night using only wood from the property, which was in abundance. My kids got to just be kids: climbing trees, running down trails through the woods with the dogs, collecting and chopping firewood, playing outside and getting dirty like boys should do! My dogs loved the property too, just getting to be off leash and hang out with us. My only slight negative is that there was some road noise, especially Monday morning during the morning commute time. It wasn’t terrible, I would absolutely stay here again anytime! It would just be nice to be able to better block that sound. The property is perfect though, the stars are amazing, and we had fun just reconnecting in nature and spending time together camping. Thank you Jon for offering us your land. We enjoyed it very much and if we are in the area again we will be back!

Did need to change water filter due to well sediment and adapt electric since he is set up for 50 amp and we did not have an adapter.
That aside it was peaceful...and we were able to get a much needed good night's sleep.
It was a bonus that our dog could be off leash for a change.

My 2nd time here and I’m so thankful I chose the same spot. I didn’t get to explore the trails the 1st time, so it was a nice treat this time. Charity is a wonderful host and I couldn’t ask for better! We love the isolation and seclusion of the site. It is right off the highway and is a little busy during the day with traffic but it tapers off late afternoon/evening and maybe a few cars between then and the next morning. There is a tree line, so it isn’t wide open to the road. Passer bys can only see the porch lights at night through the trees. We felt completely safe, even the first time I stayed with just my girls and left the hubs at home. We really enjoyed the cute little eggies and their little carton Charity left for us. Bathrooms were good and nice hot water. All in all, we were glad a weekend away from the kids and a visit with my brother was enjoyed at Blackbird Farm.

A hidden gem only minutes away from FDR! As much as I love GA State Parks in general and FDR in particular - I won't camp in FDR as long as this wonderful place is available. Exactly as described: you have the entire campsite for yourself. Peaceful and quiet! At the same time, you don't feel lost in the wild: there are other houses (nearest is maybe 2-3 hundred yards away, you can't see it, but you know it is there) and you can still drive to Warm Springs for your morning coffee. FHU worked perfectly, the site is flat and easy to back in. You may want to bring a flashlight because it is dark at night. Also bring outdoor table and chairs is you wanna sit by the campfire.

Wonderful place right off the road! Hosts are super helpful and communicative! I was worried about the road noise, but it was perfect. Very comfortable and every amenity was perfect! Plenty of room to stretch out. Would completely recommend!

My wife and I are die-hard Hipcampers, roaming the countryside in our solar-powered, off-grid Airstream trailer—fondly known as “Buff”, because she’s sleek, shiny, and enjoys basking in the sun as much as we do. And no, we're not your typical travelers… unless your typical traveler prefers their Vitamin D “au naturel”. 😎
On our latest adventure, we rolled into a gem of a Hipcamp site in Woodland, Georgia. Think “private paradise meets southern charm”. The host was incredibly responsive—like, “answer-your-message-before-you’ve-even-sent-it” kind of responsive.
A few miles down the road lies The Little White House, where FDR came for polio treatments and, tragically, took his final breath. There’s an unfinished portrait there—started on the day he died—which now hangs in hauntingly poetic tribute. Art history meets presidential legacy… all a short distance of your camp chair.
We also detoured to Columbus, just a scenic half-hour drive away. Pro tip: take the River Walk, rent some bikes, and refuel at one of the town’s top-notch vegan restaurants. Because nothing pairs with historical exploration quite like plant-based deliciousness and a gentle breeze.
We loved every sun-soaked minute—and left with full hearts, happy bellies, and exactly zero tan lines😎

The property was beautiful, spacious, and very quiet. My husband and I had a great time relaxing with our dogs away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Directions were clear, hooking up was easy, and the hosts were very nice. We would absolutely stay again.

Weekend Trip to Iremide Family Farm
Brittany was very responsive and understanding that I needed to check In later than the specified time. The campsite was INCREDIBLE and included a yurt, several grills, a fire ring, an outdoor shower and bathroom and plenty of woods to explore. 10/10 experience. Will be back next year!
