The Lodge at Hartley Oaks

Sleep under the stars at Buffalo Creek while at Hartley Oaks formerly known as Newell Lodge. Select your site or pitch your tent. The outdoors is right outside your door. Fire Pits and wood are available at a nominal fee. Guest full bathrooms are available.

Nestled in the midst of a private 57-acre native live oak forest, you'll find yourself quite happily in the middle of nowhere. Out here, nature sings you to sleep. You'll awaken to a place and time found nowhere else in the world.

Located in rural Georgia on a 57-acre tract of beautiful live oak trees. 30 and 50 amperage hookups are available for RVs. (Electric and Water.) Four full bathrooms are available for guests. An accessible dump station is on-site.

Buffalo Creek Campsites are on the grounds of Hartley Oaks near the Okefenokee Swamp.

The Good Karma Honey Bee BnB

Karma Acres Farm was started in 2010 by Lee Hughes and Lisa Broward to promote their love for beekeeping and gardening for wildlife. They produce wonderful, natural, raw honey and honey products for their local community. In fact, their farm was voted as #1 best honey provider in Nassau County in 2019.

Okefenokee Pastimes Cabins and Camp

Wooded private campground with Cabins, Rv Sites and Tent Sites.  Right outside the Okefenokee Swamp National Wildlife Refuge. 13 acres with pond and hiking trails.  Activities, events and camp store for visitors to enjoy.  Bath house Dog Park and Laundry facilities onsite also.  An Oasis near the Swamp! 

Stars Aligned River Retreat

This is our guest house.  It resides on a 9-acre property that is shared with our home.  The guest house offers lots of privacy including a seperate outdoor area behind the guest house.  The other amenities are shared.  Eco tours with the owners is sometimes available including kayaking, hikiing, swimming in the river and off road trail rides on a utility vehicle through a 200 acre nature preserve.

Deep Bend Landing

Our campground  was founded in 1980 on a family owned estate established in the mid 1800. We are just a short drive off of I-95 in Coastal Ga, near Brunswick,Ga; only minutes from the beaches of the Golden Isles of Ga, Okefenokee Swamp Park and Northeast Fl. Our large campsites will never leave you with concerns about invading the space neighboring campers. Many of our guest are content with watching the river roll by without hearing the noise of automobiles or emergency vehicles. Other guess spend there days fishing, boating or listening to birds chirping.

Conductor's Corner Campsites

Call us bias, but there’s nothing better than small town life. When the "blue roof cottage by the tracks" (yes, it used to have a unique blue roof) hit the market in early 2021, we knew it had to be ours! We purchased it & flipped it into a vacation home for guests of Folkston .. and The Conductor's Corner was born. Because we are also avid RV'ers, we thought what better way to finish off our corner than to add a few first-class RV sites to accommodate the camping community.

In a small town in the south, where the Okefenokee Swamp runs deep and railfans thrive, the Conductor’s Corner stands out. The Conductor’s Corner features 3 premium RV sites directly on the rail lines of the Folkston Funnel. This railfan's dream neighbors the Folkston Railfan Train Platform. The spacious concrete pads are perfect for a night of watching trains under the stars.

A quick 3 minute walk from the Conductor’s Corner will lead to the heart of Main Street where visitors will find a plethora of hidden treasures: coffee shops, boutiques, local eateries, the Train Museum and so much more. Guests could spend a day exploring the habitats and waterways of the Okefenokee Swamp or take a short drive to neighboring communities such as Cumberland Island, Savannah, Golden Isles or Amelia Island or Jacksonville in Florida. All the comforts of home and the utmost southern hospitality are included in your stay on our corner.  

The Conductor's Corner also includes a vacation cottage available for rent (sleeps 6).
