When I moved onto Windy Lane as a child in third grade, our road was a country dirt road. I have a lot more neighbors now, but my little piece of heaven has remained country.&nbsp;
My husband, Randy&nbsp;and I enjoy the peace and quiet we get and the plus of being close to the Interstate for when we need to make trips to Atlanta.&nbsp;
My land is still surrounded by a fence, now rusted, that my Daddy put up when I was a child. The property is big enough for us to enjoy and small enough for us to maintain.&nbsp;
My wildlife camera has captured photos of deer, coyotes, foxes, opossums, raccoons and an occasional dog and cat from the neighborhood.&nbsp;

Our niche is privacy and our cute little Nigerian Dwarf goats grazing nearby.&nbsp;Once you are on our property, you will quickly forget you are just a mile from Interstate 75. We are located off Exit 205 and are 40 miles south of Atlanta and 35 miles north of Macon.We are just 5 miles from High Falls State Park and Indian Springs State Park (where kayaking, boating, fishing, hiking, etc. are available).&nbsp;We are just 3 miles from Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary and 6 miles from Dauset Trails Nature Center. Both are must sees for animal lovers.&nbsp;If you love stockcar racing, we are&nbsp;just 18 miles from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Activities there aren't just for "race weekends."If shopping is more "your thing," we are just 7 miles south of Tanger Outlet Mall in Locust Grove, Georgia.&nbsp;

We are a small you pick berry farm...but that's only during April - June.You will enjoy the view of 17 lovely acres with a view of a nice pond and loads of flowers most of the Spring and Summer

We have a suburban hobby farm hidden away in the undeveloped acreage at the back of a 1960s subdivision.  Everyone who comes down the driveway says "What?! How is this here?  This is so cool!" And they are right.

4 friendly adult goats, 2 indoor-outdoor cats who like belly rubs, and a vegetable and ornamentals garden that hosts several Georgia natives and pollinator species.&nbsp;It's a happy and peaceful place!  

The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox.  There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek.  Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $5/person (May-Oct).

(For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. )

We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking&nbsp;(one vehicle for you).&nbsp;

2025 Construction notice: the county is still finishing up there pipeline replacement project, so there’s a bit of a construction scar going through our property now. The project being finished by Thanksgiving, but you never know with county delays.

(Include your request in your reservation and we will deliver them when&nbsp;available.)&nbsp; Small camp fires allowed in the provided fire pit.&nbsp; (Free Wood when available.)This sweet location is less than 5 minutes&nbsp;to the Serenbe Community and lots of hiking trails in Cochran Mills Park.&nbsp; Access to Hwy 85 is less than 8 miles and it is&nbsp;only 20 miles from the Atlanta&nbsp;Airport.&nbsp;&nbsp;No hookups or bathrooms available. No TENT camping.&nbsp;Feel free to take pictures of the miniature horses, but please don't feed them.&nbsp;&nbsp;Email or call&nbsp;the host instead of approaching the house.&nbsp;&nbsp;Security cameras and security dog on the premises.&nbsp;
