We own a small farm on 64 total acres with around 59 wooded. We have 4 primitive camping sites with lots of woods, wildlife, and two small creeks. We are even located on a short dirt road to give you that country feel.
All of our sites are spread out from one another and you will feel secluded in the woods with nature.
On our farm are free range chickens, peacocks, goats and a donkey in a pasture, turkeys (wild and domesticated), honeybees (in the field), and a few outdoor cats.
We enjoy our animals and nature. We want to share this experience with others so we have decided to rent a few camping spots that we have shared over the years with our children.
Enjoy the peaceful nights and the sounds of nature and star lit skies. In the daytime check out our farm animals, walk the trails, or explore the woods. Guest are welcome to pet and feet the animals if they choose.
We are conveniently located less than two miles from a Dollar General, three miles from several restaurants right of I75, 8 miles to nearest Walmart, under 20 minutes to High Falls State Park, under 25 minutes to Dauset Trails Nature Center, and under 30 minutes to Indian Springs State Park. All of this located close to our property while being only 3 miles from the I75 on ramp at exit 205.

I have two full hook-up 50 amp service sites. No Internet service at this time, but is coming. Property has a pool, cabana and fresh eggs daily. Close grocery store and Walmart.

We have had nothing but good experiences staying at Camp Joey. I would highly recommend! The amenities are plentiful, my dogs are happy and able to run around off leash, and the host is always incredibly welcoming and accommodating.

SureWood FoRest is a fantastic spot for escaping to nature. The sites are a way back on the property and well separated. It was a little muddy where I set up, but rain will do that. My dog loved being off lead and exploring nearby while I cooked and tended the fire. She was a little disappointed that the goats didn't want to meet her. We took some nice walks around the property, and drove over to High Falls State Park to hike the trail there.
I definitely recommend this camp if you're looking to unplug and unwind.

Joe is a welcoming and gracious host. He’s been helpful if we ever need anything but we also feel like we have our privacy. This has been a great spot to stay with the dogs! Highly recommend!

This is a great secluded spot for over night or a weekend trip. Me and my two brother in laws wanted a quick getaway. It was easy to get to. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. I had plenty of room for my sprinter and a jeep with two tents and space for cooking around the fire. I would highly recommend checking this spot out.

We have enjoyed staying at Camp Joey! Joe is a very welcoming and accommodating host. The site is easy to pull into and well maintained. Hookups are readily accessible and the water pressure is excellent. Plenty of privacy and the amenities are great, highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay on JoLane and Sam's place. JoLane offered prompt replies and all information needed for arrival. Sam (a veteran) met me and guided me to Site 4. We had a nice chat about local going-ons... all the more making me feel at home. The site was just right for my Colorado and 16ft camper. That being said, this site would be perfect for single or multiple tent camping! I enjoyed the peaceful feeling of being in remote, deep woods... without really being far away from conveniences or access to major roads. Do yourself a favor a spend a night or two here!

Staying at the farm has been one of the best camping trips I’ve ever taken! Mrs Jo and Mr Sam were the absolute best hosts anyone could ask for! Had help unloading and bringing my gear to the site. They were also so nice to let me borrow a small heater for when it was going to get down to freezing. The weather was beautiful and the walks through the property were great. My dog and I thoroughly enjoyed being around the goats and the mule since we stayed at the goat site. Enjoyed waking up to the roosters and peacocks. Plenty of good deadfall for firewood and the sites are set up very well. I also brought home some soap and honey that were made at the farm. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of relaxation and time in the woods. So many great things, but too many to list! You will definitely have to go experience it for yourself! I will definitely be returning!

Loved Sherwood forest quiet to yourself camping woods and trails and Creek area was nice kids loved the goats all in all great camping experience will definitely be back in cooler weather no ticks and don't think I was bitten one time by mosquitoes or anything else so yea great place to camp .

very welcoming and accommodating hosts. It was a peaceful stay. Their goats are very cute. The peacocks are beautiful. At the time of our visit there was plenty of firewood and if you are a mushroom hunter, plenty of what I believe to be chanterelles.
