My husband and I stayed Thanksgiving weekend. Very friendly & responsive hosts. Ample space at our site. We had a problem with our slide upon arrival; James took a look but was unable to help but did give suggestions of someone who could.
Bath houses were clean!!!
Site had its own grill, table, fire pit.
Farm animals were very friendly.
My only negative was the hot water pressure was not good so I couldn’t take advantage of the showers
But everything else was super nice!!

Fantastic little campground with extremely helpful hosts. Here’s what I liked about it.
There was lighting, but not too much.
Sites were roomy with a small fire pit, picnic tables, and a charcoal grill.
The individual bathrooms were clean, warm and convenient. A hot shower was great to get after a long day on the road.
It was quiet with a few outdoor country sounds, like owls, a dog in the distance and a rooster at sunup.
I’d recommend this place to anyone.

Scott was incredibly nice guy. Love what he is building at the Golden Goose. Living the dream! Showers and toilets are built ans is the party shed and they may not yet show on his page. This was just a “passing through” trip for us and he is a little off the beaten path but worth the few minutes to get there. Maybe 20 minutes from the Buc-ees at Warner Robbins so you’ve got everything….and a beautiful drive to get there!!

Wow!! This was our second visit to the property. We came last year and tent camped with our oldest daughter and family. I knew we would come back. I didn’t expect it to be so different from a year ago. The owners, Lisa and James, have added rv sites (we stayed in site 17) and are building cabins. The farm has grown, too. Plenty of animals to see and talk to. They have golf carts you can rent to really experience the 100 plus acres that includes many hiking trails. They have a carriage ride available while you stay on the property that takes you to a local winery. Definitely a must while you’re here!

This is becoming a very nice campground. It’s still a work in progress but the facilities are all first class. We stayed in a pull thru with electric and water. Nice views if the adjacent animal farm. A new bathhouse on the premises with four individual complete bathroom shower combo. They have a laundry area and the host will also sell you firewood. It’s a nice place but it’s out of the way. The road to the campground is red dirt so either you’re going to have a cloud of dust or mud when it has rained. The tent area has a great tree canopy but the rv spots are in a tree less area so it’s nice if you have air conditioning in your rig. Would probably go there again if in the vicinity

We enjoyed our two day stop here. The solitude was refreshing. Everyone was super friendly (not overly so). Loki the camp mascot does an amazing job of greeting guests including the 4 legged furry variety. My schnauzer is a bark first kind of pup. It only took a few moments and they were the best of friends. The facilities and sites are clean and well organized. This is a relatively new campground and I look forward to seeing how it grows. Thanks for a wonderful escape.

Lisa was great! She met us on arrival and gave us a an in depth overview and history of the property. We stayed the first two nights of February '25 and had the place to ourselves- other than Lisa's extended family, the grounds keeper Red Fox and the menagerie. We hiked the trail in the hills a above the campground and found a rest station with outhouse and picnic table- nice touch!
This is a work in progress by James, Lisa's husband. It will be interesting to see what his creativity and construction skills add to the pleasant and relaxing waypoint he has already established.

The host, Scott, is very attentive and responsive. Allowing us to book late in the day for a stopover. It’s an RV park in development (about 8 sites were in use) and you can see he’s invested in building long term clientele. The pads are quite long and currently, back ins.
