Camp site was level and perfect for our 30’ class A with a toad. The river front is gorgeous. Power, water and dump is set up nicely. We were there the first week of February for 2 nights as a layover between stops. The caverns are a must see and only 15 minutes away. Neighborhood felt safe and our only visitor was “Hillie” (neighbors golden retriever) who spent a few hours with us. Would absolutely recommend the spot. Jay was super friendly and easy to communicate with!

This was an amazing private getaway!! The site was clean and easily accessible with the ability to pull in and out. No backing necessary. This was just the quiet new years getaway we were hoping for. We will definitely be back to paddle board the beautiful chipola river when it warms up!

I really enjoyed my stay, Jay also left me a bottle of honey, which I really appreciated. The facility is especially recommended if you are with a group of friends, because the space is a lot and it already has a firepit (no grill) with armchairs disposed all around it. The place in itself is really peaceful and a great way to escape the everyday life. I personally went there to visit the caverns in Marianna and to go kayaking along the Chipola River. 10/10

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Having full hookups and a nice fire pit by the river made it very comfortable. We also appreciated its location and were able to visit the Caverns St Park and Hinson Conservation area for some nice hikes. We launched our kayaks from the steep stairway, with caution - but no issues. Good location for dark sky watching too.

We had a great time spending Thanksgiving on the river. Jay is a fantastic host, very responsive, and even helped us out of a bind when we locked ourselves out of the camper. Our shepherd loved being able to play fetch and not be leashed up, and the site is super clean. We will definitely be back when the river levels are up to do some more fishing.

We loved camping at Sweetwater Daze River camp!
The grounds were very well maintained and setup was a breeze.
The river was beautiful, and the atmosphere was peaceful. We had a great time hanging out by the river with a nice fire and watching the stars at night.
But the best was going with Jay on a river tour! He has so much local knowledge about the river and the surrounding area. The places we got to see were stunning! So be sure to ask him about his boat tour, you won’t be disappointed.
This is definitely one of our favorite camp sites, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot on the river! Semi secluded campground, peaceful river and a spring not far up it. We brought our kayaks and could have spent more time just exploring the river. We absolutely enjoyed it and plan to come back in the future.
The only inconvenience was access to the river was not the easiest but sufficient.
We had a few friendly pups come by every day to check on us and make sure we didn’t leave any food out. All in all it was a delightful spot and I hope it doesn’t get too much attention because I want it to be available wherever I get the chance to come back!

This campsite is well maintained and beautiful! The host is excellent and the area is very low key. The river level was low, due to the beautiful sunny weather lately, and this makes everything in nature that much more scenic. There is something healing about being outside as the sun comes up and again as the sun goes down, overlooking the water.

Passing by in the night, Jay accommodated us on like 4 hours notice! Easy hookup, even in the dead of night! Woke up on the water, the dogs were able to get their zoomies out after a few days cooped up in the RV! Little fishing hut on the water was a perfect touch! Simple, easy, private, fun! We will definitely be back!
Ask him about his cave exploring, spring floating boat tour add on!!!!! You will NOT be disappointed!

Absolutely adore this beautiful property!
The river is so pretty and we saw some really unique birds. Everything is quiet and peaceful. It is wonderful to be so close to nice restaurants that are not all a chain. We went to a cute little local bookstore and bought my daughter a book.
Loved making s’mores using the fire pit by the river.
Jay is such a gracious host!!! Enjoyed meeting him and can’t wait to book again!!!!!!!

We had a great time. Wonderful view. Plenty of space. The river came with some wonderful surprises. Jay himself was a great host. I needed another 50 foot extension cord and jay brought me one in less than an hour. He even offered to take us out on his boat. Unfortunately we were ready to leave. The spring was small but beautiful and 2 out of 3 times going we had the place to ourselves. We will be back when it's not 100 degrees
