Dog-friendly cabins near Montura

Craig was an awesome host. We was very attentive to any of our needs. He went out & cut up some pretty big logs & delivered it to us. He was cool to talk to as well! His property reminded me of a little town with all the cabins surrounding the pond. Bathrooms were neat & conveniently located. We stayed in The Wagon & it was perfect for my husband & myself. 100% be back soon!!! Thanks again Craig! 😁

Campsite was amazing right on the water. Beautiful set up with amenities: grill, fire pit, and patio on the water. Jeff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We loved staying on Jeff's property! It was hard to leave and we look forward to returning this summer and fall. Jeff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Absolutely loved the outdoor spaces and the outdoor shower!

We were welcomed by our host Jeff who's been very friendly and accommodating. The site is nice, with lots of space for everyone. Dogs are allowed. We don't have any, but the ones present didn't make any trouble. We highly recommend this place, you won't regret it!

My husband and I loved our stay at "R" camp. Craig was attentive and helpful and the land was beautiful, peaceful and secluded. Our covered wagon was spotlessly clean, and I loved the magnetic mosquito net. What a clever idea! A great place for dogs. A great place to get away. We will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Craig's treehouse. He was a gracious host and made sure to answer any questions we had, including making sure we found our way safely to the site. I appreciated that we were allowed use of the propane grill in the main common house. It's decently well-lit at night with solar lights. Great choice for bringing pets too - our one dog loved running around, and the other enjoyed watching safely from the treehouse deck. We'd love to come back with our son next time.

We loved having our own fenced in place. Nice lake for fishing and playing. Dogs loved it and we will return!

1 night at Meadow River Ranch

Meadow River Ranch was one of my favorite places to camp. It’s very serene and Jeff does an amazing job keeping the place beautifully maintained and welcoming. Jeff was also the best host giving me a tour of his property and buildings. He was very accommodating and extremely flexible. It’s definitely on my list to revisit! You will not be disappointed!!

4 nights at Lake Huntley Oasis - Pvt Dock -Acre

Second visit and will be back to this great site. Very private, and peaceful. Frank is a responsive host in case you need help. Thank you Frank! Bring water, toilet, and pack out your trash. Site has good WiFi and enough solar to keep your batteries charged from a 15 amp outlet. You will need a long 3 prong extension cord. There are sand trails for ATV and motorbikes on adjacent properties in the development. I saw several kayak fishermen on the lake reeling in a catch.

7 nights at Meadow River Ranch

Jeff is a wonderful host! Very much enjoyed my stay in the Kozey Cabin, it was just the right balance of being out “away from it all,” and being the perfect base camp for exploring the area between Fort Meyers and Naples. “Glamping” best describes the cute cabin, with its comfortable, blinged- out bed. There is a great little fridge, reading light, the outside is lit up at night, the door locks and I felt safe. Nearby toilet is a commode inside of a tent lined with plastic bags, cleaner than a porta potty and it doesn’t stink. Plenty of places to sit and enjoy the scenery and wildlife, some are decks and chairs along the river, one is screened in. There were no bugs at the time I was there. Hoping to return again!

My guinea pig and I really enjoyed tent-camping in Jeff's beautiful oasis of a ranch! As soon as I arrived he met me for the grand tour and made us feel safe and welcome; he was also great about checking in and making sure I had everything I needed. The place itself is huge, lots of grassy areas and tall trees to ensure privacy (and an authentic camping experience), a water front with wildlife, whimsical décor & outdoor furniture to hang out on. Will definitely request to stay again.

I was not sure what to expect but I will say it was worth the drive. We rented the bunkhouse which was quite cool. There is no light pollution so you can see all of the stars. We had a nice camp fire. Craig the owner was super cool. I would go back for sure.

2 nights at "R" camp.

I truly enjoyed my two day stay. I loved being out in nature and most of all "off grid". It was a quiet and relaxing stay. The layout of the ranch was well planned. Craig is very creative in his building of the different units. He was also a very kind and thoughtful host. I highly recommend the "R" Ranch!
