We have 30/50amp sites (shade and partial shade) around our lake, 20 amp in the "upper campground," and dry camping (full facilities) along the Arkansas River (Gold Medal fishing) with access for all campers for fishing and floating. Many of our sites are great for star-gazing, watching meteors, looking for fireflies, and seeing the birds zip on by. We are conveniently located on Hwy 50, in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and have all sorts of rental options for your outdoor adventure needs. We have four entrances marked by sail flags into the campground, two by the lake, one near the bathhouse, and one by the post office (on our property). There is access to white water rafting, guided fishing, and fishing lessons. There are at least 5 hot springs within 60 miles of Twin Bridges Campground. Salida is considered the white-water rafting capitol of the US by some and has a whitewater park and surfing wave. Salida area is also home to a ton of hiking (14'ers anyone?) and mountain biking trails. The Royal Gorge is a quick 30 minute drive with restaurants and other fun near Canon City. The Sand Dunes are 90 minutes and Monarch Ski Area is 45, we have some of the best bird watching! Warbling Vireo, Western Wood-peewee, Cassin's Kingbird to name a few.

This was a cute retro airstream away from the city. We Stayed here while visiting family in Denver. It has all the amenities you need and nothing more. The hosts were communicative, helpful, and obviously care about their guest’s experience. If you’re looking for an amazing escape off the beaten path. I’d highly recommend!

What a sweet property with sweet hosts! There are several places to rest and relax on the property. My favorite was next to a water fountain. There are so many treasures about, endless details to admire and enjoy. We picked goji berries and strawberries to add to our breakfast as well as herbs for accenting our dinner. Our stay was relaxing, cozy and quiet. Mari and Dave have done an amazing job creating this herbal retreat. Would stay again. Thank you! 🙏✨️🍀 🌸

Jeff's property is spectacular. This is the third time we have stayed at one of his properties and each time we have had a memorable time! It is very secluded, directions to the property are great, and everything is as advertised. The mattresses were more comfortable than expected for a place in the woods. It is so nice to be off the grid but also have a roof over your head and not have to worry about your tent getting wet if it rains. There is a lot to explore. We will absolutely be back!

Weekend Trip to Phantom Canyon Acres

Beautiful place nestled in a mature aspen grove. We had a wonderful time The appliances seemed brand new, and some things are still being dialed in, but this is not a typical cabin. It is indeed cozy--and quite spacious at the same time. The front and back decks are amazing--we spent equal time on each. The property connects directly with public land--this offers the opportunity for greater exploration. Everything is uphill, but it is doable with a bit of effort. We climbed the 1000+ feet to the top of the mountain west of the property for stunning views of the Victor mine and Pikes Peak. Cell service was available quite a bit lower. Jeff, the host, was responsive and super accommodating. We'll be back!

Weekend Trip to Monument Creek Glamping

We had a great trip great trip the weather was good even the storm the last night did not lessen the good time. When we needed a new tank of propane it was brought real quick. The stream was not good for fishing, but the beavers and geese were great to watch while I took in nature and let the stress from work go. Even my dog Abby enjoyed a short dip there. I have already told friends at work it’s a great place to go. Thanks again Chris and Wendy. Don, Kim and Abby…
