Located at the foot of Sheep Mountain and little Sheep Mountain in Gardner, CO Hike and explore this beautiful 35 acres property. There are ATV trails through out the area, So bring your ATVs and ride the miles of mountain roads. Bring your RV, camper, tent or truck and set up camp on one of our four designated camping spots on the property. There are many great level areas to choose from on your camping site. Enjoy the night sky next to your fire pit and see every star in the sky with no lights to be seen. If you need to run your generator... No problem. The owner was amazingly accommodating and switched us to blueberry camp which was very accessible! We will definitely be making a tradition of returning to yakalo! Just make sure you have 4 wheel drive and get there while it’s light out, the drive is a bit scary when people are speeding down the mountain. She also has water filters to drink the fresh underground spring water! 10/10 camping experience

We had a wonderful time at the camp site ! The area was clean, quit, and well maintained. The creek near the camp site was very relaxing, we slept like hibernating bears. Angela responded quickly to our questions and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this camp site. The site was a little slanted.

We brought out wolf pup 16bhsbl travel trailer out to camps the site is huge with plenty of space for 2-3 other families. The directions were easy to follow, however there was one sign that was missing as per the written instructions. One of our party members missed the gate because of the missing sign. The entrance to the camp sign was a little rutted out and you should feel comfortable off roading with a trailer.

This place was absolutely amazing! Josh was very accommodating with our last minute booking. The campsite was clean and the bell tent with 2 cots and a futon was super comfy! The propane fire pit, hammock, table with an umbrella and driving range were a lovely addition and the view was absolutely spectacular. Truly an A++ glamping experience! Highly recommended!!!

Incredible spot! Josh is very responsive. Propane fire pit at night. If you like hiking, there’s a great hiking trail on the property that takes you into the woods. Nothing beats the view where the tent is. I would recommend this spot to family and friends. Thanks Josh!

We really enjoyed our time here! There are two separate areas at the site, each with a fire ring a spot for a tent. We fit our large 8-person tent on one side so we could use the other for food, fire, and sitting. Shade was great, and the spot was private. It unfortunately rained for most of the time, but we got to visit a cantina up the road to get out for a bit.

We absolutely loved this site. We had plenty of space, both inside the (incredibly weather-resistant) tent and throughout the site. While every know and then we would hear people at the other sites, we never saw them! Josh is super responsive and I'm grateful to have been able to explore his land a bit. You'll be treated to an incredible sunrise view at the site.

This camp site was prepared very thoughtfully and it made the trip very comfortable! Beautiful country, private campsite, gorgeous view right from the tent. We had no neighbors but even if we did, they were far enough off I don't think we would have felt crowded. From the cots with pads on top to the chairs to the bear rattle in the cave. We felt very safe, the road to the property had a locked gate. Josh responded to messages quickly, he was professional and kind! Excellent experience!

Really cool and beautiful spot, tucked back into the woods and the little stream running was such a beautiful background and our doggie loved drinking from it. I slept so well with that sound! One con, space is all on a pitch, our tent was at an angle. I don’t see how 8 people could fit in this spot.
