Such a beautiful, quiet property. An even more beautiful sheepwagon! Such a cool idea.
Shannon has made it so extremely comforting inside, and I was so warm with the heater and all of the cozy bedding. Such sweet animals - including a cat to keep me company each time I used the bathroom in the barn haha.
Thank you so much for opening up your space, coming from Pennsylvania, this was a great visual opportunity for me to gain inspiration in the life I feel called to.

Weekend Trip to Silent "P" Ranch
The property was extremely beautiful and Shannon was very kind, friendly and accommodating. The wagon was charming and the decor was very inviting. There was even a friendly farm cat that came and said hello to us! The trip felt magical overall. Wonderful hosts, wonderful scenery, and very welcoming.

With kids
We had such a wonderful greeting from Sara’s grazing sheep, her dog Yogi and her cat Salty. It took only minutes for my son to join her daughter on the family’s swing-set.
We had intended to “glamp” somewhere close to Estes Park, and the Burro fit the bill! The tiny space heater made the camper cozy on the cold nights, and we had access to her walk-in basement restroom and shower (even if we opted not to shower because we like to “rough it” on camping trips).
After a day of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, my 8-year-old could not wait to “get back to the farm”, and spend time with all the animals. Sara’s daughter Rose even treated my son to a riding lesson on a pony for a very reasonable price.
We also enjoyed the nearby creek just at the back of her property and an excellent recommendation to a nearby park.
Additional perk is that my little loved to pet the animals in the morning while I was getting breakfast or dinner ready. Always something to do at this beautiful location!

Weekend Trip to Hart Family Farm
Staying at Burro on Sara’s property was amazing. Having opportunity for shower in the house and staying in the privacy of the backyard was a great combination for my wife and me. Camper was clean, just enough for two of us on a great location. Close to the main road, yet secluded. Short drive to the restaurants, grocery shops, coffee shops, bakery and trails. Sara was a great host and we would stay at her place again anytime. Excellent communication.

Kim was EXCEPTIONALLY responsive. I requested a very last-minute reservation and I didn’t expect to hear back in the wee hours, but she got back to me right away. Her communications were clear, concise and friendly. (Note that I am NOT advocating late night requests if possible, now that it’s dawned on me that hosts may be disturbed by request notifications). Point is, Kim was VERY accommodating and I can’t recommend this site highly enough for that. As for the site itself, it was very clean and easily accessible. I didn’t quite grasp the layout from the listing, but the 2 sites are basically together, and are at the edge of their cabin property and close to the road in a mountain neighborhood with large lots and scattered homes. I don't mean any of that as a negative, just explaining the site. It was quiet and peaceful, especially as evening fell. What I liked a lot is you can back into site 1 in a way that you have a lovely private nook with a nice clean level spacious gravel site with a small picnic table surrounded by a grove of aspen trees. You can see houses nearby but they are not too close and the areas between are wooded. It rained and the aspen leaves began falling which is one of my favorite things :)
I will say for the sake of transparency that because we love privacy and seclusion in general we were grateful that no one was in site 2 nor the cabin due to proximity. It’s not the deep woods but better than crowded campgroundsin my book! RECOMMEND

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Shimza. The cart itself is beautiful woodwork, and made for a comfortable nest. The kitchen, similarly handcrafted, had everything we needed and nothing we didn't! And how amazing to have a hot shower available when camping. Everything seemed fresh and clean. Very pretty property and we greatly enjoyed floating on the creek as well. Will definitely return.

Kim’s place is magical. It’s quiet & beautiful & the neighbors are very nice. I walked my dogs several times a day & everyone was very friendly & waved hello. Snake Lake (private) is a close walk away & it is beautiful. Dowdy Lake is a 4-minute drive. Plus, the stargazing is wonderful at this site too. Could see the Milky Way one night! Spot 1 is level & tucked amongst the aspen trees. I hope to camp here again one day. Loved our visit.

We really enjoyed our time at Dot & Byron’s camp! The property is so beautiful and fun to explore and we had a blast playing the yard games. We had planned to go hiking and eat in town but enjoyed being there so much we just spent the whole day hanging out at the camp. The tent is very comfy and the outdoor kitchen is really cool! The camp had everything we needed. Dot & Byron are very friendly and kind and have lots of local recs for hiking, food and fun. We’d love to return with our kids someday. Definitely a special spot.

The property is breathtakingly beautiful, natures gifts all around you . The sites available are each so unique & offer something for everyone . You can plan on a spotless , fully stocked , and easy to access glamping site . It says hot shower available & it's true , a HOT shower right in the wilderness ! Beautiful trails right on property and don't miss the soaking ponds ...they are a treasure !
Check in and out is a breeze .
Dot & Byron are the most gracious and welcoming hosts . They accommodated us with all we needed and made us feel so welcomed . They have truly loved this property into being and you can tell. We will definitely return !

I loved the location and landscape views I had while camping at Sara's. It was private but there were other people and animals around. I made friends with a handsome orange kitty while there and love watching the chickens free ranging around the grounds. Nice stay. Thank you.

We loved everything. I am camping with small children (3 and 5). We arrived after dark but our host called us before sunset to make sure we knew how to get to the tipi.
I appreciate the call-out in the description that sometimes people ask to peek inside because it wasn't weird when someone did ask the following morning :)
The propane fire pit in the center warmed the whole tent up VERY quickly.
The beds were comfortable and it was so amazing to have seating and warm blankets and so much space. We would absolutely return if we're back in the area.
