1 night at Cottonwood Tree CampWe needed a place to test some new gear, and this spot has a nice small town, Brush, just minutes away. The location is a backyard of a small ranch with chickens and very nice shade. Fair warning, there are trains passing through, the tracks are approx 1250 feet from the site. The host is as nice as they come, very accommodating and the area itself has virtually no traffic, but the freeway is within hearing distance as it runs parallel to the train. If you're looking for something centralized in Northeast Colorado, this is an excellent choice.
Also, a curious yellow dog may wander nearby, just checking on you. He's friendly and keeps his distance, so nothing to be alarmed about. He's probably the neighborhood watch.
