Bill’s cabin is our fourth lodging option that sits out on our Ridge about a half mile from the lodge building. Bill‘s cabin is off grid and has an out house. It also requires all wheel drive. The common area, houses the sauna, games, washer and dryer, and it’s just basically extra room to spread out. It also includes Wi-Fi and a refrigerator, for bills cabin guests to use. The lodge can be rented as one unit to sleep up to 10 guests. Please note: rates are for two guests only additional guests will be charged Per person per night Or The lodge can also be rented as individual units: Each unit is individually named, has private entrances, and is completely private. There is the Copper Peak, which is a studio. The Williams Peak. and The Byers Peak. The shared areas include the hot tub and sauna which are located in common area. Each unit is filled with luxury and everyday amenities you need for a complete stay. We allow dogs too! Williams Peak and Copper Peak unit has a doggie door leading to a six-foot tall kennel run! Sorry but our zoning does not allow for any camping of any sort on our property. Come experience the Old West as it was and still is as you meander along the road through working ranches that were homesteaded back in the early 1900’s...their weathered log cabins still standing and often still occupied...others are close enough for a great “back in time” photo opportunity. As Colorado's open range law permits ranchers to graze their cattle without borders, you will often find them on the roadways or you may even get caught up in a cattle drive as the ranchers move their cattle from one pasture or paddock to another. Springtime brings all the calves and branding time! Observing the rancher, his horse, and dog working together is a genuine treat. Look along the roadside for sage grouse, in the open fields for pronghorn, down in the willows and streams for the bull moose, in the trees for the mule deer, and on top of the ridge lines for the elk. There are also bald eagle and osprey nests, alpacas, horses, sheep, and goats. All this just on the ride into Williams Fork Lodging! Our residence sits above this scenic panorama at the end of the road and adjacent to public lands tucked beneath Copper Peak on the Williams Fork Range. The elevation is roughly 8,500 feet and the 180 degree view is breathtaking...encompassing three mountain ranges, many peaks, pastures/meadows, forest, and ponds. Soak in everything from the glorious sunrises to enchanting full moons to brilliant stars that truly seem closer than they are…the view of the Milky Way is unobstructed by light pollution for outstanding celestial shows…and meteor showers are spectacular from the hot tub! We live on the same property as the Lodge and are quite self sustainable: hunting, fishing, gardening, gathering wild berries, and raising our own poultry meat. I had a nice stay with my dog at the end of September. The view is as nice as everyone says. The site is big with an outdoor fire pit, but i didn't use. You are at 11k feet and will feel it hiking and chopping wood for kindling. That was fun with a heavy axe. The portable toilet is interesting. still not sure how I feel about it. Temps were down to 35 night but was fine inside with the wood stove. The road up is pretty rough, but I made it fine in a Tesla 3. Just go slow.

Loved the set up of this well built cabin. Wood stove was a nice feature and kept it nice and toasty inside even with freezing temps. Seclusive and convenient to hiking Mount Bross and even Mounts Lincoln, Cameron and Democrat. Saw a moose and several deer in the open area in front of the cabin which was a highlight.

I’d highly recommend Bills cabin! The cabin was clean with all of Dale’s personal touches added to it. Dale also made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived by greeting us, showing us around, and quickly responding when we needed something. We will certainly be back again!

Incredible views! We loved getting to see the stars from the skylights. The cabin was nice and cozy with the fire going. It was well stocked with the essentials. The host had great communication and there were very detailed instructions for everything.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property! It was the perfect spot for a getaway with my pups. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and immaculately maintained, and the cabin itself is both charming and full of fun activities. We were lucky enough to have plenty of hummingbird visitors during our stay, and even had a massive bull moose stop by on our last night. T was an incredible host and made sure we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our go-to place to stay whenever we’re in the area!

Absolutely stunning location. The cabin is great and fitting of the host’s description. Bed was quite comfortable. Grill is solid and will enable you to cook most anything—works perfectly as an oven. The cabin is small but well designed. There are some tight corners with low ceiling clearance (like the sink area) making it a bit tough for tall people. Couple more things to note that may be helpful. there are functional USB ports but the typical outlets did not work for us. Don’t expect to plug anything in. Solar panels provide the electricity— it’s probably by design that the outlets are deactivated reserving power for other things. Solar panels also provide the heat for the “hot springs.” The system was working—warm water was entering the pool, but not at a sufficient rate to heat the cold (and beautifully clear) spring water. There is evidence that they are still working on it. I’m hopeful that one day they’ll be able to deliver on the “hot” part. We still took exhilarating dips a couple of times. Take the altitude seriously, If you’re coming from sea level, you may feel sick for your entire stay. We live at 5600 feet and still spent a full day adjusting. It’s a special place—We had a wonderful time. William was very helpful.

Our family of 4 and 2 pups had an excellent experience at Zella Hut! So beautiful with so many different terrains and PRIVACY!! The shelter is everything you could ask for and more. Two king beds with decent mattresses and room for dog beds, couch, table and stove. Tons of blankets, firewood and the little kitchen has everything! Favorite part was the “hot spring” dipping pool next to the creek with a little waterfall! Close second was the view from the expansive cement decking! We had some fun adventures further up the road and next time we will definitely do one of the three 14ers we were so close to. But honestly, that deck was just stunning…our happy place for sure! Thanks for hosting us William- we appreciate your quick and clear communication 🤙🏽

We really enjoyed the cabin. Location was very private. We enjoyed hiking in the area, including to the bristlecones at windy ridge, which you could hike to from the cabin. William was great at communicating and answering questions. The shower is outside. The portable toilet was inside - we did bring a sheet so there was more privacy given the glass door to the toilet area. We opted to clean ourselves rather than pay the cleaning fee. We really enjoyed our weekend here.

We loved the back patio, the hot tub, the hillside deck, and the property and views so much. We stayed in the Williams Peak condo and it was perfect for the two of us on our honeymoon. We got to spend six nights there and felt very refreshed and had a wonderful time with the comfort of Dale‘s property as well as the relative isolation in middle Park versus the other areas of Colorado. Dale is a wonderful human being and both of us enjoyed our interactions with her very much. You have to absolutely get some of the cinnamon rolls, If you stay here, they are literally a little piece of Heaven. We have already discussed trying to come back here annually for a retreat and a time to reconnect in our marriage. The pictures on any of the websites just simply can’t do it justice. It is an amazing place.

Dale’s place was just what we needed for a little weekend getaway. The room we were in was very well stocked with cooking/cleaning equipment and the grill outside was perfect for making dinner. The views were also incredible and the property was very quiet and peaceful. We opted in to add the cinnamon buns per other reviews and we’re glad we did because they were delicious! Thank you Dale for having us, we’d love to come back!

80 acres! No crowds, quiet, except for the hummingbirds. Love those H birds! Peace and bask in the glory of unending open space. Beautiful mountains trees. The home itself was spectacular and had all the amenities and the best part about it was the robe. Hiking around the 80 acres was amazing in itself. We will be back again. Dale was a great host.

This was our second stay at Dale's cabin. We book through Hip Camp a lot and she is truly the best host of them all with hospitality that cannot be matched. Every detail of this cabin has been so carefully curated and you are sure to see plenty of wildlife here. This time we took Dale up on her offering of fresh eggs and cinnamon rolls and both were delicious. We will continue to stay here any time we are in this part of Colorado.
