Weekend Trip to Fallbrook View Glamping Tent
We had a great, relaxing time. You’re not far from Fallbrook or Temecula if you need supplies or want a meal in town, and there’s a rugged, long trail called Montserrate if you want exercise. We mainly enjoyed the view outside our tent, reading, listening to music and cooking on our camp stove or the fire pit. The tent is roomy (Queen bed with dresser and nightstands) and there are two bathrooms and a shower nearby). Not fancy glamping but perfect for our needs. You will hear birds at night, roosters throughout the day, but not a bother. Maybe bring earplugs if you want to sleep in. Would stay again.

The perfect weekend with my daughter. Caitriona was incredibly welcoming, both on hand to help with any questions, but also very calm and respectful of our space. The hut was idyllic. Warm at night and cool in the day, with two comfy futons. It’s situated a little away from the main house and felt completely private and serene.

Weekend Trip to Robin's Nest
Our family absolutely loved the Robin's Nest! A safe and beautiful property for our kids to roam, and the Airstream was perfect in every way! My family and I kept commenting "they thought of everything!" From small touches like complimentary snacks, to clean and tidy spaces with all the appliances, kitchen items, and signage needed, the Airstream was an excellent experience. We also did the Farm Tour add-on with our kids, which was totally worth it - they loved it! They especially loved the tortoises, alpacas, and Bandit the farm cat! Kimber was a fantastic host, with spot-on communication and service. We would absolutely stay here again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!

The place was quiet and peaceful. I ended up leaving a day early due to the weather but overall my experience was good. Everything was kept up really well, there was access to hot water, restrooms, and kitchen.

Weekend Trip to Manzanita Village Retreat
Hosts were lovely, easy to meet, and the grounds are peaceful. This little place is so cute and stayed warm overnight, had a great view of the sunset, and felt just far enough from the rest of the grounds to feel private. My little dog and I had a nice time. We hiked to Eagle Rock the next day, just a 5 minute drive away.

I loved it here. I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere more beautiful or more quiet. The hermitage stayed plenty warm even when temps got down to 35 °F at night. The kitchen has everything you need and shower was hot!

A secluded glamping site that contains everything you need, including a private (seasonal pond). This private site is provided with about 1/2 acre of seclusion and equipped with everything needed for an amazing outdoor experience. The total property is about 5 acres, but is shared with our AirBnB: "Julians Red Fox Retreat", which can be booked separately or together with our "Manzanita Cove" glamping site. There are several hammocks around the grounds to relax as well as a few short trails to walk. The property is about a 7 minute drive from downtown Julian. Welcome to Nopalito Farm! We’re so happy you’ve decided to spend some time on this beautiful property! In case you’re interested, here are a few interesting things about our farm. Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Our predecessors then diversified the growing operation by planting a wide range of fruit trees ranging from guavas and passion fruit to peaches and figs. For a decade, hops were grown on 2 acres and were sold to breweries throughout southern California. We’ve since replaced the hop yard with perennial flowers, but continue to cultivate a wide variety of delicious fruits.

It feature all the amenities you can expect at a hotel - therapeutic mattress, buddy heater, quality linens and more. We purchased Namaste Farms in 1997 when I was showing reined cowhorses as well as raising thoroughbred racehorses.  In 2005, I purchased my first wool sheep and fell in love. Today, Namaste Farms is recognized around the globe for raising high quality wool producing sheep.  While sheep are the primary animals at Namaste Farms, there are countless other animals, both four legged and feathered!NOTE: Namaste Farms is a true working farm with copious amounts of sheep, goats, chickens, peafowl, and countless other animals. Along with those, we have free range squirrels, rabbits, flies, dust and yes, even free range spiders. If you're wanting a rustic experience that gives you a break from city life and you can handle dust, dirt, cobwebs (and these can happen over night inside your cottage and WILL be in the common areas), with sounds of animals vocalizing at all hours of the day and night, then Namaste Farms is a perfect fit for you.   Know, you're supporting a 501c3 charity and all the revenue goes to support the animals.This booking is for the Treehouse, and while it's only 1/2 a mile from the city limits, it has a rural feel and is centrally located to all wineries and most of the major equestrian facilities including Galway Downs, Green Acres, and California Ranch Company. For those who are coming to Temecula for horse shows, we also have a large barn with bedded stalls and turnouts (for an additional fee). There are designated horse trails right outside our gates which will even take you to Galway Downs and California Ranch Company. If you're into golf, you can enjoy Temecula's 7 PGA golf courses or Pechanga Casino which are also within a short driving distance to the farm. If horses or golf isn't your thing, you can visit Temecula Valley wineries which are all ~ 1/2-3.8 miles of the cottage gates. The wineries are not within walking distance of each other, UBER is only too happy to come here and pick you up! If you're not interested in any activities and simply want a "staycation," you can hang out here where you're welcomed to walk around the farm and interact with the animals. At night, enjoy the sounds of serenity.

One of the last remaining undeveloped parts of Southern California, De Luz Heights is located adjacent to the Cleveland National Forest, and the Santa Margarita River (just a few miles from the campsite). On my 60 acres, there are no major roads going through or next to the property. My land is 13 miles from the Pacific ocean and enjoys a relatively mild yearly climate. Giant boulders provide topographical relief and offer platforms from which to enjoy the view of the nearby Santa Margarita Mountains. The valley views are filled with olive and avocado groves, vineyards, and horse ranches. The Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base is nearby, so you might hear some artillery in the distance on some occasions. The campsite embraces all the comforts of "glamping": a hot shower, composting toilet, beds with sheets provided, gas grill with a stovetop, pots and pans, kitchenware, a sink, picnic table, shaded deck, sofa, lounge chairs, and propane fire pit. The basics are provided: toilet paper, paper towels, purified drinking water, towels, sheets, cooking oil, etc. Campers need to bring their own blankets. I've created a network of hiking trails for especially fit hikers looking for a more rigorous hike than the nearby Santa Margarita River Trail. My trails lead through creek beds, over boulders, through rocky crags, with views of the Pacific ocean on a clear day. Hikers on my trails need to wear proper hiking boots with good traction. Sections of my trails will require bouldering with hands and feet. Expect to have fatigued quadriceps, some scrapes, and a sweaty hat brim. The campsite is accessible with a two-wheel drive vehicle; I drive a Kia Forte out there regularly. However, some tips when driving a two-wheel drive car: when going uphill on a dirt road, try to keep some momentum of about 12-15 MPH. If you stop and try to start again, your tires will spin out. If that happens, just reverse down the hill, and try it again with more momentum.
